Um, give your mouth a good swoosh with the strongest mouthwash you can beforehand - and get to the sink asap. Worked for me.

um, it tastes much worse when it's been hanging around for some time, so it tastes the least offensive if it is newly made like if they have already come earlier that day. I think it tastes like earwax.

You can't taste anything at the back of your throat... It's the rolling around the mouth when you try to spit it out that causes the problem.

FWIW - there's a blood-testis barrier so apparently foods are unlikely to affect the taste.

do it in the shower (everything is wet and warm.... unless the boiler is on the blink), aim for side of face at last minute. squirt, wash off face,(blow)job done...
