Thanks everyone. I've got lovely things planned and feel very fortunate in many ways. But I must admit it's quite cutting. His phone is out of range or switched off. I feel a fool but it could happen to anyone I suppose.

He definitely knew as we spoke yesterday and are supposed to meet on Friday... is it acceptable to wait until Friday before giving up on him? I feel let down already :-(
