Do irish men generally prefer tall blondes?

I know each person supposedly has different tastes in what they like or don't like but it seems a lot of irish men (esp in the celeb industry) seem to go for tall, blonde women. These woman can often have very plain or masculine looking faces but still look relatively nice due to being blonde.. is there any specific reason behind this? I know everyone might have preferences but to that extent where it's such a strong preference? Just curious :) thanks

With prince harry (not irish) but seemed like nearly every woman he dated was tall and blonde, yet he went for very dark haired meghan in the end and committed to her more than the 10 or so blondes he was with before.

I opened this thread thinking how ridiculous and then remembered that I'm a tall blonde (well, mousy with highlights to be precise) and I'm married to an Irish man

I don't think I could cope with my Dad having had so many partners I'd lost track. Way too traumatic.

Why do you need to know?

Also, I’m dark haired dark eyed and never had a problem attracting men of my fair isle.

I know Irish men who are with 'ethnic' women.

I'm dark haired and dark eyes with olivey skin Irish men loved me , then I married one as obviously he was enchanted by me.

Can't get more Irish than some of DP's mates.

1. Prefers small redheads. Normally dates small blondes. Had a kid with a tall brunette.

1. Normally dates small, dark complexioned women. But at 6 foot 6, everybody's small to him.

Then there's DP. XW - tall, olive skin, dark hair and eyes. XP - tallish, brown hair, blue eyes. XGF - short, blonde, blue eyes. Me - same height as him, reddish hair where the white stripe isn't, pasty skin, freckles.

There is no definitive 'type' unless somebody is picking and choosing because they're rich, famous and inundated with offers. Then they can pick whatever 'type' they think they prefer. Or in the case of needing a cover, what they think the Press/fans will see as the natural choices of a heterosexual male

My theory is that OP is a Ronan Keating stalker as his ex wife and current girlfriend/wife(?) fit the scenario completely, tall, blonde and extremely masculine looking faces. The Prince Harry/Meghan comment is just thrown in to make the topic look broader.

P.S I wasn't asking the question due to a celeb crush (doubt I've had one of those since I was 13 lol) - just used celeb examples as they are people so that most people would know who they were.

Emmm.... We like all kinds of ladies. In fact personally I have been questioned in the past for ladies I snogged at the end of the night.... But if the craic is good, what's wrong with a snog. Now... Tall... Blonde.... And celebrity... I'd say you would find a majority of Irish men ignoring that person as they'd appear artificial
