DH dressing up as a dog!

Hi Girls

I've found myself in a bit of a pickle and I don't know what to do. My story is a little unusual, so please be patient with me. About 6 months ago, I started to become suspicious that DH was bringing another woman in to our home when I'm at work (he works from home and was being quite distant at the time). I decided to install small hidden cameras around the house to see if I could catch him out. I know I should have just come out and asked him, but I didnt think he would tell me the truth. Well, after about a month of checking the footage back each day, I couldn't actually find any evidence of DH doing anything particularly interesting. I really felt relieved, but guilty that I'd been watching him. I should have just pulled out the cameras there and then, but I decided to keep watching the footage back each day. About halfway in to the second month I saw something I really wasnt expecting and I still don't know how to take it. Basicly I saw DH go in to a cupboard and pull out some kind of back pack. From the back pack he took out what appears to be a dog suit and put it on. I honestly dont know how to say this without sounding stupid, but about onece, maybe twice a week DH has been dressing up like a dog and running around the house pretending to be a dog!

I honestly almost wish he had just been having an affair as I would have at least known how to deal with that. It doesnt appear to be anything sexual, but his behavior is just so strange! running aorund the house on all fours with his tongue hanging out. Even pretending to bark as mail comes through the door. I tried to find his costume to confront him about his behavior, but when I looked in the cupboard it was gone! Worst of all, I can't reveal to him how I know what he's been doing because I've been filming him in secret, which makes me seem like a stalker!

Do any of you have any advice, I don't want DH to think I'm crazy, but he's running around our home pretending to be a dog and we have 2 children together. Again, I don't think it's anything sexual, but it's sertainly not normal.

What should i do!?!?

I’d call the RSPCA and report a stray in your house. 🐾

CaptainKirkssparetupee · 12/09/2018 21:19

what was that kid show from the 80's and 90's where the kid turned into a dog?

Angelf1sh · 12/09/2018 21:27

^ the programme was called “Woof!”

CaptainKirkssparetupee · 12/09/2018 21:49

It was a good show.

AgathaRaisinDetra · 12/09/2018 21:58

This was on This Morning a few years ago.

percheron67 · 12/09/2018 22:17

Buy him a "Lassie" dvd for Christmas.

Reflexella · 12/09/2018 22:30

That’s terrier-able, how dare he springer this on you.
I think you should boxer all his stuff up & show him the labra-door.

BettyBaggins · 12/09/2018 22:33

SparklyMagpie · 12/09/2018 22:51

Every dog has his day...

bethy15 · 12/09/2018 23:28

That's OK then, as long as it's been confirmed.

I just know it actually is a real thing, and I saw something once about men pretending to be a horse and liked to be ridden by a woman as if they were horses.

But if this is a wind up, that's different.

Haireverywhere · 12/09/2018 23:33

Channel four had a documentary about people who dress up as dogs as part of a sexual fetish.

Talk to him.

Haireverywhere · 12/09/2018 23:35

Oh. I fell for it. I am on pain relief. That's my excuse.

NotMyFinestMoment · 12/09/2018 23:52

Wow. Some people get so easily offended. The majority of people come on here to happily take the piss out of the OP and the one or two who ask a serious question get derided. Did I say anywhere that all gay men are in to puppy play?? No I did not. I simply asked a question. From what I understand, the 'puppy play' scene/community tends to be more LGBT. So it was a more than reasonable question to ask. Some of you, need to get over yourselves .

Giggorata · 12/09/2018 23:56

Man: Doctor, I keep thinking I’m a dog.
Doctor: Well, lie down on the couch and tell me about it.
Man: I’m not allowed on the couch..

NarcolepticOuchMouse · 12/09/2018 23:58

He's found the cameras! 100% he is fucking with you.

Going to extreme lengths to test out if he can lick his own balls. Get him a Choke chain and cone of shame...... On the other hand, he'll probably love those.

Easynow · 13/09/2018 06:55

A woof.

Is his name Hey Duggie?

@NotMyFinestMoment I'm curious as to what experience(s), conversations, or articles you've had/read that led you to linking puppy play with lgbt+?

AdaColeman · 13/09/2018 19:24

Was all this happening during the Dog Days of summer OP?

PlinkPlink · 13/09/2018 21:53

Haha @subspace ... I know exactly why you've commented that. Your username tells all to me Grin waves I would be asking the same thing if I'd bothered to stick around 😂
