They just had the one in stock - and in my size, plus I'd chosen a 20% off dresses code on my sparks card.
They do different fabrics and I might get another one, will be okay for work too.

Been raining overnight and cool and dull this morning. Maybe work wont be so manic today. Slept slightly better woke a couple of times but dozed off again.

Downside is a full wash i had ready to go out this morning will have to hung up inside! Typical.

Lol at superwoman mrsj certainly dont feel like one😀 not a patch on you surviving on minimal sleep every single day and being busy every day.

MrsJ - nope, washing didn't dry - had to bring it in - it was that annoying not quite raining, not quite dry, so gave up - it rained properly later as well.
Willow - Hope you got some better sleep last night , you have a long day ahead of you.
Horse - urgh , feeling ill on the weekend is just not fair , hope you feel better soon.
I got all sorts of bits done yesterday in the garden ( even though it was drizzling, it was warm :) ) Repotted mints into nice pots, emptied the dead spring pots the DDs had brought back, cleaned them out so they are ready for replanting with some summer colour. Sowed salad leaves , basil and coriander.
Last night sat down and finally got around to starting watching The Night Manager - its really good, I can see why it won a lot of awards. Strange seeing Hugh Laurie as a baddie though!
Today we are just about to go and meet up with DD1 and DGS - looking around a big Farmers/Craft market, then she has booked us a table for Sunday lunch. Hoping the rain stays away

We were out for a few hours - in nature and then in town...then did ironing, food shopping, cleaning and finally a shower, tea and chat to mum.

I survived only just😀 one staff had to go off ill and left me with cook and 2 teens to wrangle and do till myself for last 2 hours plus all the cleaning they cant do. Very busy from start to finish. Am shattered.

MrsJ busy as usual dont know how you keep going on so little sleep!

Noticed today that a bit after taking my steroids i was very shaky! Interesteing! Thankfully my last dose fingers crossed i dont need more.

Book busy as well sounds like a good day hope you enjoyed your mooch around and meal.

I went to a local cat boot this morning with my parents and Charlie to get some bedding plants, but they didn't have much so also popped to garden centre on the way home. Then planting up pots and clearing and weeding a bit of the front garden.
Fell asleep for 20 minutes before the boys got home then went to my parents and just back.

Evening all
well the day went totally wrong , bit fed up. Set off and in 10 minutes we got a warning light on the car - and it went into 'limp home' mode :( . Came home ( slowly! ) and googled - probably something to do with fuel/filter/exhaust . But nothing to be done until tomorrow. Will ring garage as soon as it opens. But had to liase with DD as we would normally be picking DGS up. So have swapped with other grandparents ( they do Tuesday normally) and hope that it gets sorted in time for Tuesday.
So basically grumped around , did washing and ironing, got sewing machine out and sorted out pile of mending, then have sat trying to finish off a WH blanket construction, but haven't yet .
Grump over !

I go back to hosp on Thursday Squirrels fingers crossed. Not keen on the shaky/out of it feeling it lasted for hours.

Bit low yesterday evening and had an early night, then awakened by something making v loud noises outside my window at 2am. Slightly achy this morning from gardening but will be okay once I'm up and moving.

Well plans went awry

Forced myself to go shopping for new jeans as my only good ones are miles too big now. Grabbed the first pair that fitted, I felt like everything was just too much effort, got the food shopping and came home. Felt like I had been hit by the exhaustion bus! Cleaned the bathroom, hung up washing and had to sit down again. Had a nap for half an hour and havent even started the rest of the housework yet. Not liking this at all. So much for my productive day!

Letting agent came round to see if I had recieved the notice to quit! Bit late told her about LLs actions and I wasnt happy but what can she do I suppose? She sympathied but its done. They dont have anything on thier books at the moment suitable but will let me know if something comes up. They needent bother not at private rental rates!

Need to pay the balance on our hols next week at least thats something to look forward to.

Willow - exhaustion has hit you like a truck by sounds . Hope you get to hear back from HA/Council .
well, our day not so good. Car has to be in probably a week. May be expensive .... Have hopefully sorted out a loan car - DH will pick it up tonight, so we will be sorted for DGS tomorrow ( fingers firmly crossed)
So I got my bike out for the first time this year, pumped up the tyres and went to the allotment :) . Legs aching ever so slightly now !
Its a bit cool and grey here, but I did all my washing yesterday, kitchen is all clean and tidy, so am going to sit and crack on with my blanket construction

Book thats a bummer, there is always something with cars isnt there, usually when you just dont need it. Hope its not too expensive.

Ooh bike legs, hope they ease off, it always seems a good idea to get on a bike but I forget just how much hard work it actually is

What a pain on the car book, hope the loan car is all fine. That's another thing I miss about being in a partnership - if you both have a car it just gives options in such situations.
And bike legs, oh yes! I cycle infrequently enough to get them every time.

Another thing i noticed is that everything tastes wrong. Just sort of 'bad' i had the same thing with tablets once before very annoying. Maybe its the other tablets too might check later.

I slept a bit off and on so much for melatonin! Tried it last night i was falling asleep in chair and in bed by 10 but still didn't sleep once in bed!
Given up and just got up. 😀
