Just a quick pop in. Been busy this morning and have soup to blitz and mini chicken pies to make for the freezer, then Tesco and school run. Just doing pizza and veggie sticks/hummus for tea.

Willow Would DS be open to counselling again? Does school offer anything? No one here will judge you - we all know how hard it is to parent at every stage.

Very dark and grey here too, with drizzle thrown in too. Hope DGS enjoys his club. DS is still loving his gymnastics and DD restarts drama this week too.

Hope everyone else is OK.

Evening all
We have had a good afternoon - we went for a 'hilly' walk, to try and start getting the calves working , ready for hols ( very up hill and down dale there) . It was that damp on the face weather - not rain, just wet mist. But It was good, and got some fresh air into the lungs. I have spent a bit of time sorting out the blanket I am constructing this afternoon too.
DH made a lovely risotto for tea, so just slobbing now before going for a bath .
Willow - your last post eased my mind , you are doing the best job you can :)

Just got the house quiet, going to do some Pilates and then watch a bit of telly - Silent witness.

Grey day here, vicious cold breeze too. Did Path Lab Run, really busy clinic and I walked nearly 8 miles taking bloods from one to the other.

Was going to start clearing out upstairs but so gloomy decided hot choc and good book infinitely preferable. as still reading!

Well, its drizzly. misty, dank here this morning. I have to pop to the shops and library at some point, but want to get my head down and finish the blanket construction today - just an hour or so left to do. I also have some mending - DGS has found doing a kneeling slide is good fun - I am now mending trousers #2 with hole in knee ! so may as well get my machine out and do a few other bits which have been waiting patiently .
I am just browsing books to load on the kindle atm - all my favourite authors I am totally up to date on, so trying to find some that I fancy. DH has loaded his 3 already :) , and I do have plenty of paper backs to choose from, ( but I only take 3 or 4 . due to weight ) .. mmm .
I do hope Juan is okay, and is up to the meet up -and yes please send love to her back .

Wet and miserable here this morning.
Took kids to school and went straight to town. Picked up xbox and had a coffee and croissant and spent half an hour in the company of Paul o' Grady 😀 good job it wasnt busy as people might have wondered what i was laughing at!

Got shopping now need to put it away but need to get on to school website and book teacher slots for parents evening. Should have done it yesterday but didnt check diary hope there are spaces left!

Book can you do my sewing to please i have school trousers to do too plus school jumpers i dont know what ds1 does to the sleeves but there are always holes appearing.
Will get on pc to do school stuff (hopefully interweb is working) and reply to pms to. Dont know what happens on my phone the reply button is there in middle of my txt one minute then vanishes!

Just come on to do the online shop while it's quiet.

Been for a long walk with half of it pushing the boys in the double.

He has 2-3 bowls of cereal (small ones) and then normally asks for a snack on the way to school! But then he doesn't have anything till lunch at school. He eats less as the day goes on too.

Miserable weather here today - drizzle and fog. Bit of a pain as I had to drive about 20 miles to an appointment; was glad to get home and curl up with a hot chocolate 🙂 Hope it picks up soon, need to see sunshine!

book, I remember DS2 doing kneeling slides at a wedding we went to and putting a hole in the knee of his trousers Wouldn't have minded, but it was a new suit he'd had especially for the wedding!

Oh for goodnes sake! DS2 came home from school with the runs! If I didnt laugh I would greet
Lying on sofa in pjs, and whenever he stands up he has to run to loo!

Oh well no tkd tonight and no school tomorrow.

Miserable wet day to start, then bright sun, then back to miserable, then mist, now just miserable.

Got cases out, sorted the boring, frustrating bits, ie skincare, hair stuff, shoes, underwear, first aid etc etc, the non-clothes packing. Needed to get done before the upstairs clear out for decorator whilst I'm away! Two very miserable cats who know what cases mean . Told them not for 3 weeks, which of course they understand and accept .

I got my blanket finished, so its away in the post . Trousers done, and sewing sorted.
Just put some new crochet down - no time to stop!
Willow - poor DS2 - flat coke is good for tummy upsets , if that helps ..
Cake - sounds like he likes his breakfasts best - DGS is the other way round- he loves his tea :)
Horse - - I suspect DGS is going to be one of those boys who always comes home with some damage to uniform !
Selena - almost snap - just starting to get together stuff. All the paperwork is in folder ready , and a small pile of things accumulating on the spare bed . Next job, hunting out warm weather clothing , and checking it all over :)

I have decided on a place in wales, well almost decided its an old post office of all things, looks lovely, but have to pay nearly £300 to book it now...decisions decisions...ds2 is keen, ds1 not bovvered where we go.

We are just gutted that the Dr Who exhibition is closed now, would have loved that. Saw the one they did several years ago in Newcastle, was amazing and eldest was terrified in parts of it!

My day off will comprise of school run, food shop, a bit of baking, the normal washing/cleaning, school run and then DD has drama in a different hall which means I need to stay and wait. Will be taking my book.

Sitting with hwb on my back after taking ds1 to school and brekke. I need to get moving and get a shower. Working at 3. Need to get new vacuum out and use it too.😀

Wet cold and just plain miseable here.

Now should i book that holiday? Will weather be kind? I have looked at places abroad but would cost 3x as much and sitting by a pool is just not my thing i like to see places of interest and do stuff. I would love to take kids to see greek/roman ruins, wild places, etc but just costs too much as some firms class both kids as adults!! Wales ticks a lot of boxes that way plus beach for kids for lazy days.
Help!

Book it! We've already booked ours for Wales the day school breaks up Poor DS, hope the rest of you don't catch it!
