My husband has died

So numb, don't believe it. He was my rock.
I have support, but they are not here now, and I know they have lives and are dealing with their own grief. Just want to indulge in some self pity I think...

Very sad news. You know we're all listening, so talk away. Flowers

Darnley · 25/11/2017 22:50

Thank you all so much.
We have 2 adult children from previous relationships, both of whom are devastated also.
Many grandchildren, some birth, some not, some children of very close friends, but all our grandchildren.
Living with him was like living with the worlds largest child...wonderful, infuriating, funny, but him.

I'm so sorry! It isn't self-pity (or at least if it is then it's bloody well justified)! Say whatever you feel, perhaps talking to others online will help, especially as there are others here who have also experienced the loss of their husbands. Sending hugs from Scotland x

He was lovely. Kids loved him. He was so uninhibited and joyful.

What am I going to do without him. He was my rock, kept me safe, and made everything ok.

Not faultless by any means, who is, but we were a great team. I miss him so much.
How do people get through this ? Does it get easier? It's so fucking fucking unfair....he was only 67 .

Oh, 67 is way too young. I'm so sorry Darnley, he sounds like was larger than life. I know it's not the same as having him with you, but I'm so glad to hear you have a big support system. I'm truly sorry for your loss. You must feel lost. xo
