Husband spying on me

Dh has been asking every day this week if there's been any parcels in the post, when I've asked what he's waiting for he's been very aloof. I went on the laptop yesterday (shared computer) and he'd sent an email to amazon asking where his parcel was. I have never had a reason to snoop but something didn't sit right. I put the link into the search bar in google and he's ordered what looks like a USB stick but it's a motion detector spy cam with sound. I don't know what to do!

A friend of mine found one and her dh said it was for watching the dog when they were out!

MrsLilymunster · 29/09/2017 10:43

If he's using a it to spy on you why not mess around and address the USB when it's plugged in? maybe ask him why he feel the need to spy on you and see how long it takes for him to view it/respond x

Ttbb · 29/09/2017 10:43

Have some fun with him. Wait until you know that he has set it up and then start doing really weird shit. Invite all of your friends over dressed as clowns for fifteen minutes, walk around the house alone dressed in a period costume, invite all of your female friends over for a witch ceremony, ask everyone that you know to borrow their dog and let a different one loose in your house every day for five minutes at the same time each day.

HeebieJeebies456 · 29/09/2017 10:59

or bend over and fart right next to it! Grin Grin Grin

Or start cutting up his shirts/trousers whilst talking out loud to the USB.....see how quickly he responds to that Grin

scootinFun · 29/09/2017 11:07

I love the idea of just performing a random act each day without letting in that you know

Onecutefox · 29/09/2017 12:16

I like the idea of farting. Hehe. After that cover the camera with something blurry and let him think it's your farts.

LexieLulu · 29/09/2017 12:23

Work out where he's putting it and purposely cover it every day?

Buy your own camera and record him setting it up to see where he puts it? 😂

I'd go crazy

SparklyMagpie · 29/09/2017 12:29

So what are you planning to do next OP?

Deathraystare · 29/09/2017 12:46

Or, stand by it but not looking at it and scream "Oh my God!" then run out the room never to return and see if he says anything when he gets in.

KangaMummy · 29/09/2017 13:38

So if he has ordered it on purpose and previously regularly uses porn and strip clubs etc iirc

I would avoid doing anything with him or alone in bedroom (or elsewhere in house or car) that you don't want posting on Internet or dark web

I love the idea of finding it once installed and doing really random things while he is at work to completely mess with his head

Be very careful with things like USB sockets in things other than desktop or lap tops around house and car

Look on computer using his passwords at his history unless he has changed them or wiped history

EddChinasVagina · 29/09/2017 13:54

Just ask him why he’s doing this and if he won’t tell you or lies then tell him to fuck off. Forget the stupid games.

Pandoraphile · 29/09/2017 14:04

I'd be more worried at the thought that he's planning to monitor someone else that he secretly wants to see more of.

ParanoidBeryl · 29/09/2017 15:08

Can you check his amazon history to see what else he has ordered?

Straycatblue · 29/09/2017 22:42

SparklyMagpie · 30/09/2017 01:30

How have you got on OP?

Crazycake · 30/09/2017 08:00

It's still not arrived, he's still acting normal Hmm I'm just biding my time.

OP posts:
MrsPicklesonSmythe · 30/09/2017 08:22

If it's for you, he'll very likely have keystroke spyware installed and will find this. I would put in an insurance claim on my 'accidentally dropped' phone to ensure I have a clean one to write here on. My ex had spyware on my laptop and thought I didn't know so I know it happens more than you think, seems you are a bit unsure of things so it'd be worth the small excess fee.

Anatidae · 30/09/2017 08:29

You need a new phone. Your electronic gear will all be compromised. Burner phone, secure it with a six digit passcode.

Consider the possibility that you are already being filmed in the bathroom/bedroom/house in general.

And I'd be assuming he's reading this (hello ops husband, you sad tosser!)
Men who control to this degree can be dangerous. I'd be thinking very seriously about my next move.

flutterby12 · 30/09/2017 09:07

Gosh, get out whilst you can! He will be already watching you. And reading this. So, OP's 'D'H this is for you 🖕🏻

Scoobydoobydont · 30/09/2017 09:14

Ha some typical massive overreactions in here. Assuming phones are being monitored, already cameras in the house etc. Some of you are bonkers.

Here’s an out there suggestion. Next time he asks if his parcel is here say “no, I haven’t seen it. What is it anyway?”

ElBandito · 30/09/2017 09:43

Scooby She has asked. He lied. RTFT or at least the OPs comments.

JenNtonic · 02/10/2017 20:58

LOL@scoobydoobydontGrin

tsarista · 03/10/2017 16:37

You ok OP??

ZigZagIntoTheBlue · 03/10/2017 17:17

I'd go mad if my dh tried something like this, and I recently bought a USB stick from amazon, I scrolled through two pages of them and didn't see and secret spycam ones so he must've searched for it on purpose! Any chance of getting into his account and seeing what his suggested purchases are, or order history?
Good luck op

Mrsyorkie · 03/10/2017 18:28

Can't stop laughing at some of the suggestions. Particularly wandering around in clown outfits.
