Ok, here we go for round #3 in which we know DH is having an affair, and does not give a flying fuckAngryof 25 years inc 19 years of marriage or respect for his LW and DD and now we try to establish what the hell thinks he's going to do next and hopefully learn about the YOWHLTF while trying to keep a calm and dignified posture HaloConfused

Have a lovely evening World- you so deserve it!

MrsJackRackam · 14/08/2017 19:33

One of my ex's many pathetic excuses was I didn't even know his favourite vegetable Hmm
He also took the fish slice when he left Grin

serenajoyful · 14/08/2017 20:02

That text was LOW!!

ComedyofTerrors · 14/08/2017 20:05

How very demeaning of him to even think you might not be able to 'be strong' for yourself. How incredibly selfish of him to place the burden on your DD too.

I suspect his attempt to look like Mr Caring to your DD might well backfire on him spectacularly. She seems far too sensible to be taken in by him.

oldfatandtired1 · 14/08/2017 20:05

My ex took the corkscrew. That was a low blow Sad

Not the corkscrew..,,,,,

notapizzaeater · 14/08/2017 20:15

My DH ex OH took all his tiger tokens and one knife from a knife block. 28 years later he still talks about it !

Wanderlust1984 · 14/08/2017 20:22

My friends exh actually took half the butter out the fridge when he left Grin He left her the packet though so I guess she was better off...! It then transpired he'd been onto Tesco to try and get half the club card points!! Seriously Grin

Putyourhandsintheair · 14/08/2017 20:26

Mine took the Ironing-board cover. Not the ironing board ; just the cover.

gingeristhenewblack43 · 14/08/2017 20:36

Sorry, but some of these are hilarious Grin hope they're cheering you up World

homebird12 · 14/08/2017 20:41

I was just thinking the same

ComedyofTerrors · 14/08/2017 20:46

My ex told me to make sure my bed was changed and that I had booked myself into a hotel from Friday night as he was bringing his new girlfriend to the house for the weekend

He got a two word answer, second word 'off' and the phone put down on him.

Oddly he didn't turn up - or ask again

innagazing · 14/08/2017 21:03

World's plan this evening was to use her Hot tub as her daughter's friend's mum was coming over. So hopefully she's feeling very cheery. and they've downed a bottle of wine by now

kaitlinktm · 14/08/2017 21:04

Shock Shock Shock

PoorYorick · 14/08/2017 21:04

Oh Comedy, why didn't you tell him to come, and hire a band of male strippers and a hot tub for yourself? While eating all the cheese spread in the fridge?

innagazing · 14/08/2017 21:06

Comedyofterrors
Was he on glue?

Beentherelefthimgotthetshirt · 14/08/2017 21:15

I'm picturing the ultimate list of unreasonable behaviours in a divorce petition. She doesn't eat wraps. There was no cheese spread left. She forgot about my passion for peas.

To punish her for her wifely negligence I took the fish slice, a knife, half a pack of butter and the ironing board cover (to wrap the butter in...). I know how much she loves ironing so that will really hurt but the most evil deed I did was to take the corkscrew.

Laughter in and from the darkest of times! Thank you MN

Putyourhandsintheair · 14/08/2017 21:26

And just think how delighted those OW will be that their new men have prioritised these items for their new homes together!

Ledkr · 14/08/2017 21:34

Just for lols, my ex pointed out that I never allowed him to smoke weed in the house (bad wifey) and that I should be grateful he had never hit me Shock

Hard work this rewriting of history.

ComedyofTerrors · 14/08/2017 21:39

The reasons would fill another thread or three. Nasty, abusive, would be violent bully. Full of threats and one of those who thought the louder he shouted and the more he repeated something the better.

Was he on glue? Quite possibly, but more likely one of the above, or trying to make himself sound big to the aforesaid new girlfriend. If, indeed, she even existed.

ColourfulOrangex · 14/08/2017 21:43

So sorry you are going through this @world you are very strong and your daughter sounds like a credit to you

Bathsheba1878 · 14/08/2017 21:53

I was told we had grown apart because we had nothing in common anymore - I did point out that DS was someone we had in common but apparently that didn't count. ExDP inexplicably developed an interest in the kind of music he'd formally have derided, predominantly country and western. Surprise surprise I later found out the OW liked it too - but I am guessing 'Stand by Your Man' wasn't one of her favourites as she was married (and had a young DD) at time when the affair began.

Cary2012 · 14/08/2017 22:11

My ex took his beloved treadmill. It was huge so he had to dismantle it to get it out the door. When he popped to the loo I took a couple of bits of it and threw them in neighbour's bin.

He spent hours unsuccessfully trying to reassemble the bloody thing in his new lovenest...Grin

kittybiscuits · 14/08/2017 22:31

^^ That's very funny
