We're a group of travelling drinkers of varying levels, those who are teetotal, and those who have tried so many times to stop, those are 'controlled' drinkers, but we NEVER give up and keep coming back for the support we share, and trying to get some kind of control over the Wicked Wine Bitch Witch!

It's not easy, boy, it's so not easy to stop or cut down some days. There are days when even the Bravest Babes fall into the Sidecar. And do you know what? That's okay.

There is NO judgey pants worn on this Bus and you don't have to be anyone other than YOU to join us

So, come and grab a seat, some Opal fruits, (it'll make sense eventually!)) and meet the rest of the Babes. Remember, you're not on your own, ever with us, you'll always have a Babe you can relate to.

Lovely to see you. I did have a small wry smile at the hair story. I decided to cut my fringe off in similar circumstances.

I once apparently rang a good friend during a black out for an hour according to my phone log. I have no idea what I said as I've never heard from them since.

Kombucha is a fermented tea drink, ma. It's tart and sweet and a little bit fizzy. Delicious. And also extremely good for you - full of probiotics that help rebalance your digestion. With moon giving me a pass, I'll keep enjoying it.

Is Kombucha that fungus that grows on silver birches? I know one of our friends was on about something like that when we went up to the forest. Made us tramp everywhere looking for it.

Haha, mint, no. I think you may be thinking of Fly agaric, which is a sort of red and white toadstool that grows at the base of birch trees. It's valued for its hallucinogenic properties, not probiotics.

Kombucha is a kind of fungus too, bit more like the yeast that can grow on beer or wine.

Fly Agaric toadstools are deadly poisonous! Do not eat them!!!!

ma surprisingly, they're not that deadly unless you eat rather a lot of them. Once cooked, they can be consumed for their, uh, "medicinal" effects. Not that I'm recommending eating them! (Nor interested in doing so myself.) But they have a notoriety that exceeds their toxicity.

Hi all I'm new here and wondered if there was room on the bus for a little one! I've drank at least a bottle of wine if not more most nights for longer than I care to remember. I've tried unsuccessfully to give up but today enough is enough. I'm in work atm but will post more later. Thank you
