Oooh, merry Christmas for the morning everyone she genuinely seemed mystified - why would I want that when I could go and get a man, I said well women have needs and she just looked odd and said 'well I don't' lol! We seem to be fine though now - am sure all will be forgotten soon I think she'd die if I did that Dubh! Am making a glutton of myself tonight. 3/4 a bottle cava and 1 vodka down, plus (here comes the roll call) - a slab of homemade corned beef pasty, half a big sharing bag of choco bons, after eights, naice ham, cheese, crackers with butter, more ham, cocktail sausages, more ham, pork pies and scotch eggs. Haven't been allowed to crack open the quality street yet though

Tomorrow will be a long lie in (mam in work til 7.30), shortbread biscuits for breakfast, dinner for 12.30/1ish, then present opening, then parents go to bed for a bit and I'll watch telly. When mams in work tomorrow night me and dad will prob watch a film or something

Ma hugs and I second dubh, still do the stockings! They're the best bit and the magic of Christmas and if they moan just do what mine do - say you had nothing to do with it, it was Santa who brought them

Just wanted to wish everyone a very happy Christmas!

I worked most of last night so been asleep, but after making myself open cards and presents am feeling loved, humbled, and a bit guilty about being so bloody miserable recently. Been given a lovely charm for my bracelet from my brother's girlfriend, who recently got engaged, and a lovely card too. Her gentle acknowledgement that she has moved on with her life but not forgotten him (or me) has hit me hard, but in a good way. Maybe that's what I need to do. And some lovely stuff from friends too. Think I need to stop focussing on what I don't have and be bloody grateful for what I do. And that of course includes all you lot.

I'm going to a friends in a bit- was thinking up my excuses to stay home, but going to make the effort. So I have a large glass of wine, a candle burning for my brother, and am trying to work miracles with make up to hide the lack of sleep and tears of the last couple of weeks.

Hi all. Hope all okay. Sad really, DC left at 1230 yest, Spent aft and eve with H watching films, having a few G&Ts (well quite a lot).
It was OK, but I'm not sure we have a future. We're spending today together too DC back tomorrow and he's working.
I will drink today (nice pub lunch) but I will keep doing AF days in between.
Been for a walk at a national trust property, nice and glad I got myself out but sad with no DC here and marriage not good and no real family, walking on my own! I know others have it much worse and I'm going to make myself cheer up

I am a nervous wreck because I am seriously thinking about leaving DH (god can't believe I've actually written that down ) I have even made enquiries about a flat
