Hello. A couple of weeks ago I had a thread about leaving my partner, I'm sorry I don't know how to link.
Well, d day is tomorrow. I've managed to find a 3 bedroom bungalow that accepts hb which was a feat in itself!
Tomorrow I have hired a van, it's coming at 9.30.
I have packed as much as I can without him noticing.
It's just that I feel so guilty. He literally has no clue whatsoever.
He's being nice at the moment, probably because everything is going his way.
I signed the tenancy today so there's no going back.
I know I'm doing the right thing, I keep reminding myself how he acts and treats us (my 2 dd).
I just feel really guilty and sad for him.
I'm not going to tell him to his face, I know it's cowardly but I am really scared. I was going to leave a note. I have told him before that I wanted to leave but he made me feel really guilty and that he only critisizes us to help us.
I'm sorry I'm rambling but my mind is going 100 miles an hour. I feel sick and want to cry.
Thanks for reading.

Op

Well done. I love seeing posts like yours! Indeed you have served your sentence and tomorrow is your first day of freedom.

Remember this man might turn nasty and aggressive or indeed turn on the waterworks in a way you have never seen before to try and get you back.

Either way remember what a bastard he has been and the abuse he has subjected you all to and just know you have done the right thing.

Good luck in your new home.

flyblossom good luck today. I did exactly this over two years ago. It's awful and terrifying at the time and you will experience guilt, I don't understand why considering they have basically forced you to leave with their dreadful treatment but anyway it passes quickly! Life is so different on the other side xx

Quite!

Waterworks: ask yourself (not him, unless you really fancy a pointless few hours of headfuck) why couldn't he do the right thing all this time?!?....

Nasty: phone the police instantly. This is NOT a moment to second-guess yourself.

Best of luck today. Brew
