Because there's something going on there....

Also think Still should shorten his user-name. Tis too long....

helena. Well I started off as the 'good twin' and was up until my mid-twenties when the 'bad' twin kicked in. Although I never did cheerleading (probably to DrSeth's disappointment), I am still the wannabe writer. Did you read the 'grown-up' version? And no folks, it's not Sweet Valley porn, although I bet somewhere, out there....

portia What the heckity heck is a hectorine? I imagine it to look like a porcupine ....

Yes i read Sweet Valley Confidential when it came out but wished i hadnt. It was awful. Sullied the teen memories of it a bit.

HelenaDove · 23/08/2016 23:21

The character actually closest to me in the whole thing was Robin Wilson The one who was picked on for her weight in Book 4 Power Play but she lost it all (the weight that is) and had the last laugh.

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 23/08/2016 23:23

I still have a load of them at my mum's house. My BF died when she was 27, and she was also a secret fan/hoarder and her mum gave me hers.

Confession: sometimes, if I'm feeling a bit low, I still read them now Blush (especially the ones featuring Bruce)

That was meant to say BFF! Bloody stupid acronyms; I can't keep up!

Yes, Jessica was awful to her. In actual fact, she was a little horror. What were the ones about the prom where she spiked her sister, there was a car crash, Jessica's boyfriend got killed....... Maybe we should start a separate thread.....

Jess im so sorry I also had a friend who was into SVH (we used to do book swaps) and she died at 28.

HelenaDove · 23/08/2016 23:30

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 23/08/2016 23:32

I'm going to have to dig one out now!

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 23/08/2016 23:40

Our readers expect it

HelenaDove · 23/08/2016 23:48

I never kept my copies. I also read a series called Caitlin by the same author.

Lovehandles · 23/08/2016 23:53

Have you got a room yet Jess and Dr Deth? oops I mean Seth

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 23/08/2016 23:53

Am trying to think of a teen novel that might stop DrSeth feeling so left out. Was it Tiger Eyes or Deenie by Judy Blume? One of them had S.E.X and I think I may have read it several times....

HelenaDove · 23/08/2016 23:57

The copy of Forever in the school library was well thumbed.

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 23/08/2016 23:59

Helena. That's the one! Ewww - am glad I had my own copy!

I actually stopped reading fiction for the most part when I was 20. Generally just read non fiction now. I like to learn things.

On that very boring and totally innuendo free comment, I bid all of you a good night and naughty dreams

HelenaDove · 24/08/2016 00:05

I read a lot of fiction and non fiction. Last month i read The Butterfly Summer by Harriet Evans. It was amazing with a great twist at the end.
Bittersweet and made me sob a bit though.

HelenaDove · 24/08/2016 00:06

Back at you Seth.

PortiaCastis · 24/08/2016 00:25

Jess ita a cross breed

StillDrSethHazlittMD · 24/08/2016 07:56

I'm a pure breed. Actually, thinking about it, I'm a non breed!

PortiaCastis · 24/08/2016 10:39

Breeding can be controlled

Glitterpegs · 24/08/2016 12:18

PortiaCastis · 24/08/2016 12:25
