Because there's something going on there....

Also think Still should shorten his user-name. Tis too long....

I don't read erotic fiction. I'm afraid it might make me jealous of fictional characters.

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 23/08/2016 20:21

royal. That would be utterly ridiculous! (another small cough)

jess I have a DP. But we don't live together, I have 3 dc and he's suffering from depression. All in all not great for your sex life Grin (And I'm scared to go on love honey! What if everyone knows)

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 23/08/2016 20:24

LoveHoney are very discreet - so say the sofa couples I wouldn't know, I use battery-powered courgettes

OP posts:
HerRoyalFattyness · 23/08/2016 20:26

But I don't trust the couple. They're being paid to say that.

HelenaDove · 23/08/2016 20:31

They are quite smug.

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 23/08/2016 20:38

Would you prefer to see actual proof of 'satisfaction guaranteed' during ad breaks in Midsommer Murders, Royal?

OP posts:
StillDrSethHazlittMD · 23/08/2016 20:39

Sex? Oh yes, I remember that. Labour were in power back then.

HerRoyalFattyness · 23/08/2016 20:40

jess Midsomer murders? I think we all know it's the copper that's doing it. He's the only twat living there that's not been killed yet.

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 23/08/2016 20:50

royal. I too have suspected him! Wherever he is, there's a murder (murder guaranteed).

DrSeth/Boris. I bet you found that unbearable, didn't you? (Labour being in power, I mean)

Midsomer Murders is nowhere near as good since Nettles went. I stopped watching it after about the third one with the new bloke.

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 23/08/2016 21:24

My first crush was on John Nettles when he was in Bergerac. We used to watch it as a family on Saturday nights. I still remember getting a little thrill when the first few bars of the theme music began. Once my mum cottoned on, she invested in a VCR and then weekends were spent watching videos of The Sound of Music and other wholesome productions. Bless my parents, it must have been un-fucking-bearable to have to sit through those until bedtime, but they did it to preserve my chastity. Because obviously there was a real possibility of a their daughter hooking up with him....

StillDrSethHazlittMD · 23/08/2016 21:27

I really liked Bergerac. Didn't have a crush on Nettles though. He lives not that far away from me in the grand scheme of things

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 23/08/2016 21:32

(Googles 'where does John Nettles live')

StillDrSethHazlittMD · 23/08/2016 21:36

Actually, he lives in Devon these days. But until a couple of years ago he lived just outside Stratford Upon Avon.

PortiaCastis · 23/08/2016 22:03

He lives next door to my Auntje Mabel

StillDrSethHazlittMD · 23/08/2016 22:40

He has lots of animals including a donkey called Hector.

PortiaCastis · 23/08/2016 22:50

Is Hector's mate Hemione ?

StillDrSethHazlittMD · 23/08/2016 22:55

I'm making a guess that may be a Harry Potter reference? I haven't read any of those books. I saw the first film, thought it was crap, so gave avoided the whole thing ever since

HelenaDove · 23/08/2016 22:59

I actually prefer the second bloke to Nettles. He was also in the original Messiah which was really good.

When i was a kid it was the Sweet Valley High books. There wasnt exactly a lot of diversity in them though.

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 23/08/2016 23:04

Yes, I saw that on Google What I want to know, is do Mr Nettles and Hector have anything in common?

OP posts:
ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 23/08/2016 23:05

Helena! I knew I liked you - but which Wakefield sister were you?

OP posts:
HelenaDove · 23/08/2016 23:09

I cant say because of my RL name

PortiaCastis · 23/08/2016 23:09

Jess I have told you about Mr Stinger previously.
Seth Hector and Hermione mated and are now the proud parents of a hectorine

HelenaDove · 23/08/2016 23:10

A new SVH book used to come out on the first Thurs of each month . I remember racing into town at lunchtime to buy it each time.
