Because there's something going on there....

Also think Still should shorten his user-name. Tis too long....

AndTheBand. Yes, she does. And one is terribly privileged if she does so. She even takes her glove off (switches it for a rubber version). I imagine DrSeth has done much hand shaking in his loo.

Well, who knew! Grin
Thanks for responding so promptly as well. For a few panicky moments there I thought I might have killed the thread.

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 17/08/2016 13:22

And. I'm on this thread consistently occasionally.....

Clutches pearls...just got the double entendre about DrSeth. Blush I am a little slow this morning. Dd2 had nightmares again.

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 17/08/2016 13:32

AndThe. (Whispers) It's the afternoon, now, sweetie....

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 17/08/2016 13:34

Actually, forgive me, you said you were a Yank. Looks like two of us moving in slo-mo then Grin. Roll on bedtime!

Time difference, but I suppose I could structure my life schedule per MN Greenwich time standard. But Mr. Band thinks I am already a little too invested.

StillDrSethHazlittMD · 17/08/2016 13:45

In my own defence, Jess asked for a double entendre. So I gave her one.

AndTheBandPlayedOn · 17/08/2016 13:45

x-post. I was at the bus stop for dd2 Summer Scholars program, last day. Wow, I just realized the magnitude of multitasking that and MNing at the same time! Probably shall not risk it again.

AndTheBandPlayedOn · 17/08/2016 13:46

Tumbleweeds? I thought it rained over there All. The. Time?

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 17/08/2016 13:47

Ooh, you have A Life! I'm considering getting one of those, too! Can you buy them on eBay/Amazon? I'm wary because I've heard they can be terribly hard work, and even expensive, so I'm not sure I could cope with one and I am also trapped in the rabbit hole that is MN quite comfortable with MN as an alternative.

OP posts:
ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 17/08/2016 13:49

Seth. I beg to differ. You did not give me one. Am still waiting.

OP posts:
AndTheBandPlayedOn · 17/08/2016 13:53

I'm not sure I am coping with mine. Confused MN has enhanced the quality considerably (seriously true fact).

Girl Scouts, I believe you know them as Girl Guides, started up again last evening with a Leader meeting. I am a Brownie leader as that is what dd2's level. I am signed up for the Camping Essentials course later this month with camping "training" outing in September. That should be interesting.

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 17/08/2016 14:02

From what I've read (and don't quote me) I think doing stuff like Girl Scouts/anything that does not constitute looking at a screen waiting for DrSeth to keep his promises constitutes having 'A Life'. Keep me posted, am deffo considering getting one!

Jess - apologies for my tardiness. I am still waiting to hear if Gow has finished cleaning the room for us.

[quickly ushers Glitter out of the side door]

AndTheBandPlayedOn · 17/08/2016 14:08

Well, perhaps I can entertain with distractions from my G rated life (may strike into the PG rating occasionally) while the rest of the naughty shenanigans are developing behind the hopefully clean curtains.

Glitterpegs · 17/08/2016 14:14

Looks like I have been tossed aside by Seth Sad

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 17/08/2016 14:21

Non-feminist post: Serves you right, Glitter; I play the lonnnng game Wink

Feminist post: He's treated you appallingly, Glitter, and I would strongly urge you never to speak to him again. Never. Ever. And if you do....

AndThe. I think you need 'The Sixth Thread That No-One Responds To' - many peeps eagerly awaiting their delivery of 'A Life' over there....

OP posts:
StillDrSethHazlittMD · 17/08/2016 14:26

I never said we couldn't see other people. We never discussed exclusivity.

What a dilemma. Two lovely women. It's like buses. You wait six years for a woman to turn up.... Not that either of you look like a bus, he adds quickly before I get pounced on (although he wishes at least one of you would).

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 17/08/2016 14:33

Exclusive-schmoosive. You are a player.

PS. I look like a bus. A sort of human, female one....if that's what you want to hear..... (thinks: 'A bus fetish? Well, at least you'd get on with DS...)

StillDrSethHazlittMD · 17/08/2016 14:39

Public Service Announcement: As much fun as this thread is, can I just for the record state that I am really not a player in the real world. I'd hate people to read this and take any of it seriously or throw it back at me when I am commenting on other relationship threads one day.

Announcement ends. As you all were.

Glitterpegs · 17/08/2016 14:56

So pouncing is still an option? Seth

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 17/08/2016 14:58

Okay, okay:

Seth is lovely.
Seth is kind.
Seth is sensitive (swoon).
Seth is absolutely not a player; just confused/overwhelmed/bewitched by the moral-free Glitter.

If some of the utter shite I've posted was thrown back at me, I think MNHQ would most certainly be calling 101, and undoubtedly cancelling the cheque.

I am more and more impressed by Seth Star
