So, no dd's, they've been palmed off this week to mil and step fil, oop Norf.9

We decide to have a date night, Dh and I. Great...

...well, no not really. All good so far, a few drinks and then on to a posh restaurant.

We had a starter which we shared, then mains, and then waited to see if we wanted pud.

We did, and had some cheese and crackers (not keen on puds anyway).

So, pud was all eaten, when twat Dh decided to pull a light fitting down from over our table...

.., The next bit involves me picking glass out of my hand, and getting First Aid, just because h wanted to pull down the lampshade 🙄

How would everyone feel about this
Twattery?

I'm so angry right now, I'm in the spare bedroom with a throbbing hand...

It doesn't matter if the injury is a scratch or needed stitches though, the fact was he was dicking around enough to actually cause an injury in the first place. In a way he's lucky it happened to the OP and not someone passing the table or a member of staff, although I bet he would have been quick enough to apologise then...

Daenerys2 · 04/08/2016 18:41

I'm not seeing the issue here or the need to describe your date night in such detail, how is your preference for cheese and biscuits relevant? Are you pissed?

Sorry, but after a particularly shitty couple of weeks, this comment has made me burst out laughing. Thank you nickyfury.

Sorry about your cut hand OP.

Longdistance · 04/08/2016 19:53

Oh yeah, I'm rolling around laughing my head off too. It was hilarious.

He has a tendency to act a dick. A few years ago we were in Tunisia with dd's. He decided to go get drinks at the bar. Never came back, turned up rat arsed and was groaning loudly as he was so drunk. He jumped out of bed to be sick, fell over pissed himself, puked and then shat himself whilst dd's were asleep.

It was dd2's birthday next day.

Those of you who think he's hilarious are more than welcome to him.

Any takers?

And you are with him because ?

Rarity75 · 04/08/2016 21:36

Someone said upthread
Straw
Camel
Back

I will add
Manchild, knob.

Yes your hand is not going to fall off. Glass cuts hurt. He ruined a nice child free night and failed to acknowledge he was a pillock. I suspect this is the top of the iceberg after your holiday experience. So yes I get why you are flaming mad at him Flowers

Rarity75 · 04/08/2016 21:37

Tip of the iceberg!!

sapphirestars · 04/08/2016 22:48

Eww I think I might have LTB just for shitting himself when pissed. That is vile! Poor you! Shock

fastdaytears · 04/08/2016 22:54

You were worried about drip feeding but you waited til page 4 to mention the drunk shitting?

Daenerys2 · 05/08/2016 11:13

The drunk shitting would have been the end for you surely? Is he apologetic for the lamp incident?

MephistoMarley · 05/08/2016 13:13

Can you sarky twats on the thread mocking the sore hand not read? This man is a grade A knob and the op is venting. OP - what are
You going to do?

NotTooBeautiful · 05/08/2016 13:19

Lady the poster you quoted, and several others on this thread will gleefully snark at anyone like that. It's a hobby of theirs. They like to feel superior. You get used to it.

Penfold007 · 05/08/2016 13:19

Does your H have any good points? Hope your hand isn't so sore today.
