I'm a bloke - can I post here?

I don't really have any burning issues or anything but just thought if I am allowed to post to give a mans view on things or if anyone wants a man's opinion an anything.

I'm a nice chap, nothing fancy, aged 33. I don't know how I even came across here but the only thin I want to say is that I like older/mature/ ladies!

Cheers!

Just to clear something up from earlier in the thread...

I am not a bloke.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Dudes and guys in Canada (where I'm from) can be both men and women.

OP, on a serious note, I think you've entirely mixed up the nature of this relationships board!

It's not a board for finding relationships, but a board for discussion/ advice/ support for relationships issues, conundrums and questions.

It's completely unnecessary to identify gender, and as a public forum is open to anyone.

Nan - now! :p

Well yes after 5 pages of replies I've gathered I made a mistake and my opinion is kinda welcome without identifying if I'm male!
There are so many topics here and relationship problems :( sad to see I guess but it happens

Hope everyone as enjoying their Monday!

theroxbury can you plumb in a washing machine?

Report
theroxbury · 06/07/2015 15:00

Nope, never needed to, I don't have one. I like to keep things simple and use a good old fashioned washing up bowl

You need help with one? I can certainly try

Btw "Site Stuff" is the place for suggestions about site changes, layouts, emoticons and the like, but please don't go with the pink/blue dot idea. (It wouldn't happen anyway. We don't do such frills around here. A select handful of emoticons is the best you can hope for. No tickers, no glitter, is how we likes it.) AIBU (used to be called Am I Being Unreasonable?) is where posters get directed when it's deemed that they could do with a good kicking. But you've had yours, so that's all right.

I know the thread has moved on a bit, but please can someone post The Picture? You know the one I mean Wink

theroxbury You live with your mum, doncha?

That's why you don't know the difference between a washing machine and a dishwasher, you've never needed either. Smile

Hello OP. Enjoy MN. It's a great place as long as you remember not to be a complete twat.

I remember a boyfriend in the distant past getting really annoyed with me for plumbing in my own washing machine. He actually whined that I made him feel like I didn't need him Confused it was the beginning of the end.

I hope no one's serious about the coloured dots. That was a joke, right?! Why would knowing someone's gender make their opinion more or less valid? It's much nicer to judge posts on their own merit.

Welcome to MN.

Let not get started on INSTALLING a washing machine (it's not plumbing) lol.

Welcome theroxbury

There weren't any existing fittings, so it did involve a bit of plumbing when I put mine in. Don't know what else you'd call putting in new pipe work.

Nothing like a patronising 'lol' :o

Nice elephant. But can you make an origami unicorn like in Blade Runner? (One of my sons was well into origami at one point. Not a document was left unfolded. At a younger age he made "inventions" involving unfinished cereal packets and his brother's school shoe laces, which didn't make him quite so popular.)

Er, you're not my DS3 by any chance... (slightly lying about your age if so)?
