a hole different kind of sex

I don't like olives. let one slip in once in a mouthful. find them the most revolting food anyone could eat. But yet others find them delicious. Maybe my tastebuds are unadventurous. You could advise me to try them in a variety of ways scenarios , but I wouldn't believe you and stay ignorant to this delicacy....

So if we all have different tastes and if:

It's a given that loving sex is the best kind of sex and we all feelclose and intimate.

It's a given that some couples want to spice up their sex life by introducing toys/positions/clothing/massage/s&mand likes. Intimate but fun between consensual adults.

It's a given that some couples want to try threesomes/swing etc. and say if you have a good solid trustworthy relationship this can keep a relationship healthy and long lasting.

But anal sex is something that from the boards here I am feeling that is a violation and unnatural. That it is the man that would primarily want this. Is this the general consensus or a delicacy that you just don't want to try ever.

well i think she put it forward in a neutral way and added humour. then seemed to get a whole lot of put downs as to how she put the topic up and it went off course and a mock of the subject. i thought it sounded boys locker room comments after that myself.
I still don't understand why posters should get stick as you say. if we are adults surely people can respond without putting a poster down or slagging them off for their language used or how perfectly articulate they are.
Not helpful in my book. This irritates me intensely about MN and a prime example on this thread.

Fingeronthebutton · 09/12/2014 12:39

On a 'serious' note. I discovered olives and gin in my 40s. Your taste buds might change too.

CogitOIOIO · 09/12/2014 12:41

@middleagecrisis.... If you don't like the way a thread is going, you're free to ignore everything except the original comment. Or hit the report button if you think it has infringed a rule. This is a community of individuals and, like real life, we can all get carried away sometimes seeing the funny side. Rather than getting offended at other people's flippancy, if you want to take the OP entirely seriously do (as I did in a later post) and answer the question you think they posed then do that.

GoatsDoRoam · 09/12/2014 12:46

Let me see if I can understand the point of this thread:

You have recently discovered that you like anal sex. You also believe, somehow, that Mumsnet is "against" anal. So you are here trying to get Mumsnet as a whole to state that anal is a-ok, so that you can feel better about enjoying your new-found delight. Or like you've proved a point or something.

Have I got that right?

BolshierAyraStark · 09/12/2014 12:59

Where does it say on MN that anal is wrong & only men like it?

As in RL, we all like/dislike different things.

I fucking hate olives with a passion, dirty things.

kilmuir · 09/12/2014 13:04

That 'hole' is exit only

TheSpottedZebra · 09/12/2014 13:15

This is an OP from another forum, right? Doing a joke thread, trying to post like a layer to get us talking about bumsex.

Right, I reckon he's 38, called Clive and works in sales, but his persona was Emily, 43, newly divorced English teacher.

TheSpottedZebra · 09/12/2014 13:16

A layer? Eek.

A laydee.

Golferman · 09/12/2014 13:50

Both my wife and a couple of my FWBs love it as do I. I believe it is quite common theses days.

Nowstrong · 09/12/2014 14:05

I like and enjoy ... both.

bitofanoddone · 09/12/2014 14:09

Never got to grips with it. It hurt far too much.

SmillasSenseOfSnow · 09/12/2014 17:57

I enjoy both. Olives potentially more regularly than anal.

It took a few goes of both to really discover that I liked them at all (spread across months in the case of olives, years in the case of anal).

BeetlebumShesAGun · 09/12/2014 18:04

I don't like olives

Did I get it right?

GrannyGoggles · 09/12/2014 18:19

wide boy is up a gum tree re olives from the tree, they are almost inedible, being horribly bitter. Or was he introducing that as a red herring?

Personally I much prefer olives to anal.

And I have a v nice olive dish, with its own special little place for the stones, will be looking at it anew . . .

Mrscaindingle · 09/12/2014 18:47

Where does extra extra virgin oil come from?

Really ugly olives.

I'll get my coat Blush

grumbleina · 09/12/2014 18:51

Are we talking pitted olives? They do look a little bit like bumholes sometimes, you're right.

£5 says this turns into 'everyones olive opinions' right quick. I like those enormous green ones that taste sort of grassy and sour.

apotatoprintinapeartree · 09/12/2014 19:00

I think the OP is conducting market research into olive beads, they are like anal beads but crunchy.

Sorry, I love to lower the tone.

IPokeBadgers · 09/12/2014 19:31

There is no way I'm allowing olives up my backside if there is a chance of homeless anchovies launching themselves up my derrière while being chased by Greek fishermen.

Oh my! Thank you for this....the tears are tripping me, I am laughing that hard!

BlueberryWafer · 09/12/2014 19:34

I like both...

wideboy26 · 09/12/2014 19:38

Maybe the olives I was referring to were something else. They were the size of an olive but they were a vivid green (rather than olive green) and they were fresh looking rather than like something out of a jar. They weren't bitter but were similar in taste to a green olive. Perhaps they weren't olives after all. Do I need to change my view of alan?

TheSpottedZebra · 09/12/2014 19:58

I have some olive forks each with two really sharp prongs for jabbing.
Can I use these for anything else?

Lweji · 10/12/2014 23:55

For some reason I'm getting loads of Amazon adds about olive stuffers now.
Must do some searchers on something less suggestive.

YonicSleighdriver · 11/12/2014 00:07

Mmm olives

CarryOn90 · 11/12/2014 08:04

OP is an English teacher??

Hmm "A lot" is two separate words
