Met a really nice guy online dating a couple of days ago. Been emailing and now texting loads (even texted me when he woke up this morning) but neither of us have suggested meeting up yet! My friends keep telling me to wait for him to ask as he might think I'm too forward if I do it... I just want to meet him and see if the chemistry is there in real life like it is online...

What about speed dating OP? I preferred that as at least it cuts out all this pre-meeting bull shit and you get to meet them in the real world straight away.

I chat to lots of people OLD. Until a decision has been made that both of us are exclusive then I will continue to chat and go for coffees. That is the experience of OLD.

If someone texts me, I reply (dependent on content). They reply back and before you no it you have spent all night texting a random. I agree you should meet quickly and also don't get too emotionally involved. Ultimately you no nothing about these people so take it calmly.

3 minutes but you all get to mingle before and after in the bar if you like.

3 minutes!! Did you find it easy to go up to the ones you liked afterwards and chat? I'm not sure how I'd be in that situation.

A couple of times I went for a drink with some of the other women so haven't really stayed to chat afterwards. Prefer to wait for the results to come back.
