How do you know when 'tonight's the night' ? [wink]

You know, like 'fetch the penis beaker'......

I realised last night that we have a 'sex light' - the usual bedside lights aren't on, but the light in the cupboard is.....sexy!!

Go on, how do YOU know you're in luck??

DH says, 'I have a load for you'. I say, 'Oh, right O then'. Who says romance is dead? ; )

MadBusLady · 26/01/2014 16:34

Well, a lack of journalists in the corner is always a good start.

Sexnight · 26/01/2014 16:37

Me mbl?? Absolutely not. Just name changed, having just read the whole sex beaker and feeling v.sorry for saracrewe.

Why would a journo be interested in this?? Just me loves talking about sex and all things sexy

It always is the night.

Sexnight · 26/01/2014 16:38

And Dinnae, I love that!! No point dressing it up, eh?

For us it's more a case of comunicating when tonight isn't the night. One or the the other of us either says we're too tired and goes up very early, or could we just hug tonight.

maras2 · 26/01/2014 17:46

' Fancy a shag ?' usually works for us.

MistressDeeCee · 26/01/2014 17:52

Dinnaeknowshitfromclay Grin thats got to rank amongst one of the best phrases on MN

Every night would be the night for us it the Mister had his way. Im idly thinking of sawing off 1 of my legs so he'll believe me when I occasionally say Im a bit under the weather...

CuntyBunty · 26/01/2014 17:55

It's usually almost every night, so we communicate that we are tired or not up for it, rather than when we are.

I do like to say to DH, "light the sex candles" though, on a special occassion.

MsWinnieBaygo · 26/01/2014 17:56

I get the helicopter in my face

not really

MonsterMunchMe · 26/01/2014 18:06

We average on twice a day usually so we just say when we aren't in the mood.

MostWicked · 26/01/2014 18:39

A kiss, a touch, a grab, an innuendo, a text, sexy clothing, a demand, a request, a toy left out....

whatever takes our fancy at the time :)

1974rach · 26/01/2014 20:49

I get the hugely romantic "your ass is mine baby" and since I read him a bit of penis beaker I get "get the beaker from the bathroom"

DreamingOfYou14 · 26/01/2014 20:52

Huh? It just happens. We don't plan it!

Bogeyface · 26/01/2014 21:00

My personal favourite was years ago when H and I just got together.

He came in to the lounge (middle of the afternoon, kids were at mums btw!) and looked really concerned. He said "Is everything ok?" I said yes, why? And he said "Then why have you still got your pants on?!" It was very funny but quite sexy too!

Ragwort · 26/01/2014 21:06

Well, define what you call 'in luck' - depends how you view sex I suppose Grin - I feel lucky when DH disappears to the guest room & I can curl up with a good book but I guess that's not the answer you are looking for Grin.

It's usually almost every night Shock

Ishouldbesolucky · 26/01/2014 21:08

It's a touch or a kiss or last night so are we going to bed yet ? That was after a romantic night out and a bottle of wine at home can't say my DP isn't romantic Grin

Sexnight · 26/01/2014 21:09

Yes 1974, I suspect sex beaker will stay with us too!

Every night shock here too Ragwort. I'm walking funny just thinking about it!!

Every night? Seriously? How long have you every nighters been together? Wow, after 16 years it is certainly not every night or even every week in this house. Makes me tired just thinking about it Wink.

Oh and the clue from DH is "are you coming to bed soon?" with a bit of a leer. He goes to bed way before me normally.

60sname · 26/01/2014 22:35

Erm...when it's Sunday. We really need to get a Wednesday-night shag in too

Bogeyface · 26/01/2014 22:38

We average on twice a day usually so we just say when we aren't in the mood.

How do you find the time?!

MonsterMunchMe · 26/01/2014 23:44

bogey

We both only sleep for 4/5 hours a night. And it's not a complete shag fest each time Grin

Bogeyface · 26/01/2014 23:47

Even so! Once a day I could do, but twice a day would induce a "headache" but then I do expect a certain level of "service", a quickie isnt my thing!

ThingsThatGoBumpInTheNight · 27/01/2014 00:18

Well it starts with jack russelling every time he goes near me usually while I'm trying to wash up the bastid Grin
