This is such a deplorable mess. We are not married but live together in an apartment that comes as a perk of his job. He has four children from a previous marriage. I have three children from a previous relationship. The actrice has two children from a previous relationship.

Evidently the french are seriously upset at how he is handling the economy and couldn't give a toss about his sex life if he only got on with the job of sorting out the economy ( colleagues in France say this.)

My advice to him at this stage, though, would be to not be in a relationship for a couple of years until he sorts himself out.

I would guess he'll answer questions about his personal life briefly then try and move it on. He might say that while Val is in hospital he diesn't want to say anything though...
