Wonder if many of us ladies have the same bug bears :)

In no particular order -

  1. Pees on the floor (MISSING THE LOO, NOT PURPOUSLY PEEING ANYWHERE )
  2. Easilly lead by friends
  3. Is a show off in front of people
  4. Does his best to try impress people, wants everyone to like him
  5. His past (know it shouldnt matter but still is in back of my head)
  6. Stroppy
  7. Messy

Sounds a lot like my ex 'd'p!

No wise words to offer but I wish you good luck

tinkertaylor1 · 21/12/2013 21:27
  1. pisses all over toilet seat.
  2. has to be prompted to shave
  3. messy

That's it really ive beat most of his bad habits out of him!

Joysmum · 21/12/2013 21:30

Yes to the toilet issue
Mine sometimes doesn't think and is then irritating/hurtful
Untidy
Snores
Sarcastic (I'm worse)
Struggles with empathy but ok when explained
Inconsistent

tiamariaxxx · 21/12/2013 21:33

Eats noisily ( punishable by death imo)
Never listens
Never rwmwmbers anything ( but is an engineer so can remember ridiculous details.....never anything like " we have to be at x by 630" though)
Looks at me with a blank expression when I ask him something/argue
Is a total child

But he rubs my feet and back when I ask so I think I'll keep him. Grin

tinkertaylor1 · 21/12/2013 21:36

aw tell me about it.....sitting on the toilet at half four in the morning after seeing to dd2 and sitting in his piss on my bare legs, gives me the rage [fangry}

tinkertaylor1 · 21/12/2013 21:37
Xmas Angry
neiljames77 · 21/12/2013 21:40

If you don't want the toilet seat pissing on, then may I suggest you put it up once you've finished?

puts tin hat on and cowers in corner

YouAreMyRain · 21/12/2013 21:44

Can be a bit grumpy
Messy

tiamariaxxx · 21/12/2013 21:45

Mines a big kid aswell he loves the kids toys but i think its kinda sweet. And yes hes very forgetful too but ill let him off for that least he remembers the important stuff :)

I actually put the seat up im the only lass who uses the loo in my house atm so its only fair really. Its the bloody floor i have a problem with grrr

OP posts:
theboiledfrog · 21/12/2013 22:31

Constantly moans about the mess
Generally makes me feel like shit
Tells me I just sit on my arse all day at work and his jobs harder (I work hard btw)
Pokes, flicks my lips or blocks my nose when im trying to sleep
Taps the gear stick when I'm driving if he thinks im in the wrong gear
Moans if tea isn't done when he gets in from work
Calls me miserable a lot
Wakes me up in the night to scratch his back where he cant reach
Points out any mistakes I have made and tells me he's re done it correctly

neiljames77 · 21/12/2013 22:40

But other than that he's ok?

muddylettuce · 21/12/2013 22:42

Leaves clothes on floor
Never cleans the oven
Never makes the bed
Always has his bum hanging out
Is unable to share food and is incredibly anal about the equal pouring of wine
Is a sarcastic arse
Cannot be tolerated when tired, as is a grumpy twat

Initially this was really hard...then the floodgates opened! He is my darling though. Love him.

fifi669 · 21/12/2013 22:44

DP moves a lot in his sleep so I could end up on the very edge as he's snuggled closer and closer. Oh and when he doesn't do that he hogs the duvet. I've woken frozen to him wrapped in a king size duvet like a cocoon!

He's useless with money, overthinks the little things and is oblivious to the bigger things.

He does pee only in the loo though....

tiamariaxxx · 21/12/2013 22:44

haha oh no i think i have it easy compared to some

I've never understood this, possibly because I've not shared a house with many men, and I don't think my father did it. Why should this be necessary? Even with the seat down, it's not like it's a tiny little hole. Is it really so difficult to aim at?

I've never understood the toilet seat thing either! I'll ask DP when he gets in

*Usually not very much, I will come back when I am calm and answer properly.

ODearMe · 21/12/2013 23:13

Can be grumpy
Is too tidy
Wants to move to the other side of planet Hmm

neiljames77 · 21/12/2013 23:21

It's at the end of the act of urination that's the problem. The flow starts to slow down so you adjust your aim. Then it speeds up again and it doesn't give us enough time to re-aim. It's not on purpose. We do try to be good.

kelper · 21/12/2013 23:24

Rubbish time keeping. He can be hours (has been known to be days late before he met me) late and I hate being late so it annoys me a lot!
He helps anyone out. Which I love and hate in equal measure.
He would put mr trebus to shame with his hoarding tendencies. And not little stuff either. Cars, boats, shipping containers.

tiamariaxxx · 21/12/2013 23:42

oh forgot to mention he is a panicker aswell if the kids are ill he just goes off in a big flap, which is no good because im just as bad

OP posts:
fifi669 · 21/12/2013 23:53

Just asked DP. He said wee flow is unpredictable, doesn't always come out straight, can come out in several streams at once. It's to give a bigger hole to aim. Think maybe it'd be easier just to sit down?

sydlexic · 22/12/2013 00:04

Lots of reasons urine gets on the seat, none as to why they leave it there.
