I'd like replies from people who are genuinely happy & satisfied with their spouse.

What do you differently from everyone else? What small things keep your relationship strong?
What are your pieces of advice for someone who wants a respectful & happy marriage.

I am getting married soon and I want to be a brilliant wife & have a loving lasting marriage

Have time for each other,
Don't try to change the other person,
Don't compare yourselves to other married couples,
Communicate honestly,

Understand that you work on your relationship every day, and you are either contributing to it or contaminating it- there's nothing "neutral" in relationships.

Communicate clearly and objectively.

Remember that what you give, you tend to get back. If you're not getting what you want/need, ask yourself if you're giving it.
