Feeling invisible .....wave at a mate!

Following on from Trish's good idea (and by request) this thread is the place to play 'bag a buddy' 'wave at a mate' or 'grab someone else's grip for a minute'

The original idea from the invisble thread was that it would be a brilliant idea if people had a friend they could pair up with ....just so someone is going to wave at you when you feel down.
It needed a thread.

Tomorrow I must go out to get some wrapping paper and start wrapping Christmas presents. I am really behind this year.

Ooooh IamInvisible you've got me all excited again! I'm sat watching christmas stuff on the shopping channels waiting for my Chinese since DH has finally given me some peace to be festive before time abandoned me for a boxing match

I'm usually completely done by the middle of November Humpday, all wrapped and everything. This year because DH is away it's a bit 'meh', the kids don't really know what they want either. We are going to have 2 Christmases, one on the day and one when DH gets back in January.

Have any of you ever joined the Friday night drunk thread? I have on occasion, having had a drop or two. I thought it would be a bit exclusive, but people were friendly to me. I am going to this evening, just to balance out the coffee morning from earlier.

Perhaps We can roam the boards looking for Hester's bogey, if she doesn't mind.

Ive been on the Ironing Thread with Grennie today, its really amusing me.

Im in on my own, have work to do so mucking about on the internet will be passing the time nicely!

I'm another sad person who organises for Christmas early, though. Pretty much finished here, though won't wrap until the start of December after the tree goes up (I just like wrapping when the lights are on, and I can justify watching "its a wonderful life"! )
Still lots to do though - feeding brandy into fruity things, and turning bottles of adulterated booze.

Sorry to hear that Fright, Ive been made redundant and DP and we both got it in our last paychecks... hopefully it will come through quickly for you..

I made plum vodka last year. The bottle exploded in the pantry and stripped the paint off the shelves, all the way down where it dripped. There was a bit left in the bottom....I decided to give it a miss.

Hi. I'm another Christmas organiser. We have all of our presents (including stockings) bought and wrapped, we have a meal plan for Chrisrmas/days before and after, and made some weird decorations/got the DC to make weird decorations. Now I have nothing to do but MN all day, inbetween changing nappies, occasional feeding, empting a variety of potties and turning on the TV. Exciting life.
