Feeling invisible .....wave at a mate!

Reprint · 22/10/2013 20:31

Following on from Trish's good idea (and by request) this thread is the place to play 'bag a buddy' 'wave at a mate' or 'grab someone else's grip for a minute'

The original idea from the invisble thread was that it would be a brilliant idea if people had a friend they could pair up with ....just so someone is going to wave at you when you feel down.
It needed a thread.
This is it .....................

It's nice to be able to drop in and chat, since its a new thread it doesn't seem as daunting as jumping into one of the more established ones. Not that the inhabitants aren't lovely, iyswim. :)

Hate going out in the rain, I'd say you'd been blessed there if they want lunch at home!

Hello all. Storm update: I think it's going to be worse further east. Solent kind of area. I would secure things if I were you.

You know that feeling when you've been talking to a mortgage advisor for an hour, you then look in the mirror and see a bogey sitting visibly at the entrance to your nose? That.

HaroldLloyd · 25/10/2013 13:24

Oh THAT feeling. It's one I know well

Having day from hell, toddler has woken up in the most awful mood and is storming around the house like one of satans imps. Argh.

Hi all. I can muster a very weak wave, think Mr Burns.

HaroldLloyd · 25/10/2013 13:25

I hate this All The Weather business.

It's sunny, it's cloudy, it's windy, it's rainy. ARGH! Pick one.

CatAmongThePigeons · 25/10/2013 13:29

It's like that here Harold, It really is a bit of allsorts today.

We're currently Spongebobing here Confused we've been through Peppa & I've done Magic Roundabout & Bagpuss. Also got Ivor the Engine waiting in the wings. I quite enjoyed Waybuloo in the newborn fog phase Blush Need to track down Camberwick Green & Trumpton. We've also tried The Herbs & The Flumps 'oooh Pootle' Grin

Sorry, I know that bit of the thread probably seems ages ago now...

Also surprised that AF has been reported that many time, but glad HQ have made a statement & that it's temporary. But still think they need a better system for sorting out troublemakers though. No clue what that would be though.

Hope all ok with you Reprint

envious? why? hope the baby left you some of your hand Grin

Glad you've had some good news Hump good luck with the still outstanding badness

Hope the hangover has passed Hester?

Oh gawd Harold I think we have the same child. Although does save the best rampages for the least suitable times/enviroments too.

Weather report: wet & windy, but nothing dramatic.

Envy at beach out the back

I've seen the weather warning now, great big fat scary white arrow right over us too.

Hump a proper chat thread with people on it? Grin

UD do you have a DS or DD? They do sound very similar. I've managed to get him into bed now, and poor wee DS is having a nice crawl and play without being sat on or otherwise harrased. Grin

HaroldLloyd · 25/10/2013 14:11

I'm getting the Envy at all these people living by the sea!

Feel a huge urge to say that my children are nowhere near the toddler stage anymore, so excuse me when I say I have never even seen 1 episode of Peppa pig, and couldnt possibly join in with those particular conversations. Dont even know if Peppapig is one word or two!

Could do possibly with the weather and sea posts, but dont want to out myself. Will say though, that I definitely am within about 50 miles of one poster on here, but wouldnt know her in rl as far as I am aware. May let the particular poster know one day on another thread.

ThanksReprint, for looking after people.

Hello all. Big waves.

'Thanks' for the goggygia's yesterday! Confused

I went to my first ever coffee morning today. And what's more, I quite enjoyed it!

hawkeye21 · 25/10/2013 16:07

Hi all

Finally made it back, having done the weekly shop and a frantic house tidy. The house is for sale and there is someone coming to view shortly. I am now desperate for someone to buy it as trying to keep it clean and tidy is killing me.

Oooh, Ivor the Engine and The Herbs. I had forgotten those.

Catacombmint · 25/10/2013 16:10

The Dolls House.

Small films, not Ibsen.
