Feeling invisible .....wave at a mate!

Following on from Trish's good idea (and by request) this thread is the place to play 'bag a buddy' 'wave at a mate' or 'grab someone else's grip for a minute'

The original idea from the invisble thread was that it would be a brilliant idea if people had a friend they could pair up with ....just so someone is going to wave at you when you feel down.
It needed a thread.
This is it .....................

Reprint · 24/10/2013 20:10

Yep! its all become very divisive. So I did a trollop'y wave at everyone ...with a wooden spoon.

Reprint I can just visualise the thread title many years in the future; 'AIBU to think that Perpendicular Vince is the worst MIL in the world?' I've learnt loads about MILs from MN and am planning on picking up my GCs without asking and feeding them formula when DIL isn't looking Grin.

MrsCakes, is there any of that apple cake left?

PerpendicularVincentPrice · 24/10/2013 20:16

Which thread has the statement about AF on? I can't find it Sad

hawkeye21 · 24/10/2013 20:22

Thanks Reprint . That is possibly enough wine to blot out the memory.

HaroldLloyd · 24/10/2013 20:37

Cheers Fright I`ll try and load him up over the weekend on anything that he will eat. Trouble is he refuses everything when he is ill, and has been on an off for weeks now. But its good to know that I shouldn't stress about what too much.

I find the prospect of being a MIL quite scary. Especially some of the threads on here, MIL said she would babysit! What a controlling witch! She smells of perfume! All that malarky. My MIL is very hands off and I would love for her to offer more, but thats up to her I suppose. Heyho and Whatnot.

Is the AF stuff still going strong? Prince there was a C&P of an email from MNHQ on the "Fuckergate" one but essentially she was warned, was emailed saying she was suspended for a week. So not so bad.

HaroldLloyd · 24/10/2013 20:39

This is an excellent summary!

I've steered well clear of all the AF threads today. I can't be doing with it tbh. MNHQ are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Not one poster is bigger than MN, not one poster is MN, not one poster is above the rules. Could you imagine the outrage if they did show favouritism over this? It's only a week! By the time it all dies down AF will be back!

Annagramma · 24/10/2013 20:44

My toddler decided the only reasonable thing to do when Peppa Pig ended was to have a massive, screaming tantrum. A minute after I'd finally got the baby to go to sleep Hmm FML.
