Feeling invisible .....wave at a mate!

Following on from Trish's good idea (and by request) this thread is the place to play 'bag a buddy' 'wave at a mate' or 'grab someone else's grip for a minute'

The original idea from the invisble thread was that it would be a brilliant idea if people had a friend they could pair up with ....just so someone is going to wave at you when you feel down.
It needed a thread.

Yes, I saw the AnyFucker threads in chat. I'm not aware of her work, but from what I've seen in the comments, banning seems wrong.

Yes, there is "I'm on", but those less familiar with mn may not know about it (it took me months to notice it) and it won't help anyone who was lurking, plucking up the courage to post.

I am quite sad AnyFucker has been banned. She gave really good advice.

I've done quite a bit of knitting tonight, but have put it down now because I am waiting for DH to FaceTime me again. He is away until January.

She helped me out once, its awfully embarrassing but I thought my vagina was broken after DS1 and she informed me it was just my cervix.

But I notice her a lot, she is very funny and has always replied to me on a thread. I think its a very bad banning that one.

When he's been away it's been anything from 9 weeks to 6 months. It's rough this time because he'll miss both the kids' birthdays and Christmas.

AF is a huge loss. The news is rocketing around the threads. Didn't always appreciate her delivery (I am a tender soul ) but the advice was unparalleled, especially on DV threads. I was watching the thread that caused the ruckus. MNHQ need to rethink, I think.

I'm gutted about AF. Never had any conversations with her but I valued her opinion and she has made me think differently about a few things too. Is the thread still there or has it gone poof?

There are loads of threads in chat Peanut and one in AIBU.

I like AF, I don't always agree with her but I think her advice comes from a good place.

I was about to go on a hen do, and I have no real idea why but I decided to have a rummage as I had a terrible birth with DS and I wanted to make sure it was all well.

I found a funny object in there, like a peach and called my friend in tears saying I thought it was a prolapse.

When I went on the hen do, I was drunk and I asked a group of friends would they please go into the toilet and have a rummage in theirs and report back if they had peaches. Friend A said of course, Friend B looked horrified and said no way, so we went off to the toilet and came back and Friend B said I cant believe you did that. She thought Id asked everyone to have a rummage in MY vagina. Haha.

Anyway, I was going on about it on here and AF said love, thats your cervix and all was well.

harold - I am crying with laughter.

"do me a favour and go have a rummage in your vagina for me" will now be my litmus test of true friendship.

Thats true, you know its a good friend when they will have a rummage for you, and I am ashamed to say we had terrible hangovers and it was in Maccy D of all places.

I'm sorry everyone, not ignoring you I got caught up in the AF threads. The kids will be 19&17 so they are not little and DH won't be missing that much. My parents go away for Christmas and FIL has just emailed DH to tell him I phoned and called MIL a selfish cow! I've not spoken to her since April!

We are going to have some presents on Christmas Day and a Christmas Dinner, then another smaller Christmas when DH comes back.

Oh no why on earth did he do that?

Treat yourselves to lovely things from M&S to eat, and I guess it will be nice to look forward to Christmas no 2 when he is back.
