Feeling invisible .....wave at a mate!

Following on from Trish's good idea (and by request) this thread is the place to play 'bag a buddy' 'wave at a mate' or 'grab someone else's grip for a minute'

The original idea from the invisble thread was that it would be a brilliant idea if people had a friend they could pair up with ....just so someone is going to wave at you when you feel down.
It needed a thread.

DH has texted bemoaning his trust in yesterday's weather forecast. 'An umbrella in the cupboard keeps no one dry'. He thinks if he says it enough,it sounds like a proverb.

Hi Grennie. . Since this was my idea, I think I will just put here that Grennie and I were the very first MN buddywave pairing!
Didnt expect this to all take off so well.
In rl, I have ideas that sometimes dont work!

I have noticed that some of the posters from the other thread who posted to say that they felt a bit invisible are not over here yet. Not that they have to of course.
But some said [and I hadnt thought of that], that they feel their opinions do not matter, or they dont feel worthy enough
I hope they do feel able to come over here.

If a MN buddywave group or buddy doesnt work out the first time round, I envisage that this idea will keep popping up from time to time, and you can just add your name, and get buddied up with the poster above you who isnt buddied, and a new poster that adds their name underneath.

Contrary to how it can seem on here, it is very by and large, an anonymous forum.

I, and I suspect thousands like me, have not met any mumsnetters whatsoever, and to the best of my knowledge, dont know any of them in rl either.
