Feeling invisible .....wave at a mate!

Reprint · 22/10/2013 20:31

Following on from Trish's good idea (and by request) this thread is the place to play 'bag a buddy' 'wave at a mate' or 'grab someone else's grip for a minute'

The original idea from the invisble thread was that it would be a brilliant idea if people had a friend they could pair up with ....just so someone is going to wave at you when you feel down.
It needed a thread.
This is it .....................

Oh this has moved too fast and now I haven't got a buddy! I was trapped under the baby but managed to get the remote so have now watched diy sos and don't tell the bride...then dp came home and relieved me of baby pillow duties so I can chat but the threads gone super fast and theres pages to catch up in now! If i just wave again, that might work

Reprint · 22/10/2013 23:14

Would be nice if we can wait for someone without wave buddies to come along, but if not then very happy to keep waving.

Are you another nightbird?

I'm usually around at this time of night. Not a regular poster really but always lurking like a big lurky thing Grin

EauPea · 22/10/2013 23:21

ThisGhost and Tea* hello I think we are allowed more than one buddy
Reprint You are genius, I think I may just let my monsters out, might wait until tomorrow as posting is soo slow tonight

Annagramma · 22/10/2013 23:22

Tea I'm another trapped-under-baby one. So demanding. Thankfully this one has exhausted himself with screaming for every second since his birth/crying/gurgling/going to the toilet. I think I've rediscovered a lve of phones, so easy to balance when cuddling a baby.

Im turning in too. I dont think I have a buddy, I got too overexcited about Heidi and lost track.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 22/10/2013 23:26

I am friends with evvvvveryone. I really am. So I shall wave at all. And actually then I must go to bed.

Night all lovely folk :)

Eau - always manage to come up with things for other people, and end up with no idea what to do myself!

So is everyone set up with someone now? Have blistered fingertips this evening lol Now I know why Trish didn't start the thread Grin
Don't want to wave goodnight though, if anyone is still feeling invisible!!

TeaAndCakeOrDeath · 22/10/2013 23:27

Reprint, he's 4 months and a proper little chunk so being stuck under him with a dead arm/stiff neck while he snores/snuffles/headbangs you with his tiny but incredibly fucking hard skull into your cheekbone is not fun!
He's teething though so the alternative of moving and waking him up, followed by the hours of crying to get him to settle again is just not worth it...
So has everyone had a nice day? Hasn't actually stopped bucketing it down with rain all day here, keep expecting to see Noah float past the window...

HaroldLloyd · 22/10/2013 23:29

I am self employed and had a lot of work on, and a snot ridden DS returned from nursery at 10am. Its been a bit.. trying.

I have a little 8 month old DS. No teeth yet. Bloody teeth, are more trouble than they are worth if you ask me.

Have you managed to extract yourself? I got lucky and he went in his cot!

TeaAndCakeOrDeath · 22/10/2013 23:32

Anna how old us he? Shall we be 'squashed under baby buddies'?! Mine is asleep in his chair for now...hopefully he'll stay that why for a few hours

Reprint · 22/10/2013 23:32

Ah, my DD had a little one who cried a lot at night. Its hard hard work.
Flowers

Harold - if you are still there, reading back I think you are firmly buddied with Gigi and Chelseahotel Grin

What is a Buddywaver? How do I sign up to be a Buddywaver? It is the middle of the night, I am overtired, and have an insane desire to become everyones' Buddywaver.

GigiDarcy · 23/10/2013 05:22

Can't sleep, need to be up at 6 and got a big observation at work today Sad. Thought I would take my mind off it by coming back on to wave!
