Would you be annoyed if someone you really liked contacted your closest friend on fb? Even if it was to plan a surprise.

No.
Unless there's more to it, no I wouldn't.

FracturedViewOfLife · 12/10/2013 17:50

No.

ALittleStranger · 12/10/2013 17:56

What an odd question.

Flojobunny · 12/10/2013 17:57

Unless u had something to hide?

OP posts:
gamerchick · 12/10/2013 17:58

No idea what you're on about?

FacebookWanker · 12/10/2013 17:59

I'm glad it's not just me who doesn't understand...

Flojobunny · 12/10/2013 18:01

I messaged

I messaged one of his mates on facebook to plan something for his birthday in 2 weeks, we haven't been seeing each other long so was undecided, and he's very angry. Questioning whether we should even be together. Said I'm out of order.

Bigbrassband · 12/10/2013 18:07

Er, dump him. If he's this irrational now then it'll only get worse, what you're seeing is the tip of the iceberg.

FacebookWanker · 12/10/2013 18:07

Seems like a bit of an over reaction....

Chubfuddler · 12/10/2013 18:08

Dump. He's weird

FracturedViewOfLife · 12/10/2013 18:09

He's angry you wanted to plan something for his birthday and dared to message one of his friends?

You've not been together long, I wouldn't bother being together much longer.

perplexedpirate · 12/10/2013 18:10

Weird and ungrateful. Ditch this loser.

Flojobunny · 12/10/2013 18:10

Thankyou, I was beginning to think I'd breached some weird privacy fb thing.

mammadiggingdeep · 12/10/2013 18:10

Still don't really get it but if u messages a friend to surprise him then it was a nice thing to do? No? Unless you really haven't been together long enough to be messaging his friends and getting involved in his birthday plans?? As in,...a few weeks or something. Then yes, maybe that's 'a bit much'.
How long exactly have you been together?

HandragsAndGladbags · 12/10/2013 18:11

Something to hide imo

WaitingForMe · 12/10/2013 18:12

Run. Run away now!

mammadiggingdeep · 12/10/2013 18:20

Hang on a minute!!! Lets find out how long they've been together first...if its 3 weeks then IMO its a bit much. If a guy did that the other way round Peoria would be saying red flag, too full on etc etc.
op, how long have you been with him?

Flojobunny · 12/10/2013 18:20

We've only been serious about each other for a couple of m

OP posts:
mammadiggingdeep · 12/10/2013 18:20

Peoria??!! I meant people...typo. Who the dickens is Peoria?! Lol

Flojobunny · 12/10/2013 18:22

Damn this phone.
A couple of months. But he's the one that's been full on. Told me he loved me. Told me he wanted to spend his birthday with me. So maybe I got carried away with things and didnt think clearly? Maybe he's right?

OP posts:
Thisisaeuphemism · 12/10/2013 18:22

I wouldn't like it much. Really.

Thisisaeuphemism · 12/10/2013 18:23

And I don't have anything to hide.

His reaction suggests you're incomparable to me, not that he is wrong.

Thisisaeuphemism · 12/10/2013 18:24

Incompatable. Doh.

gamerchick · 12/10/2013 18:25

Show him the messages.. tell him he's acting like a dick and you were trying to do something nice. If he still kicks up then dump his arse. Life's too short.
