She knew his W was pregnant. That they had a young DD.

Her marriage had ended because her H had been unfaithful and left her with 2 young boys. WTF??

I know everyone says he's the married one and that's true, but how can you inflict such pain on someone else when you have been there yourself????

In a perfect world none of this would happen but unfortunately none of us are perfect. I am shocked at unashamed's blase responses however sometimes people are with the wrong people and are happier with others, unfortunately this is not always done in the right way, ie ending the previous relationship because they are unhappy rather than because they have met someone else. It doesn't necessarily make them a hideous person although not recognising the upset it can cause probably does!

My dad had an affair when I was young and we knew the OW but it was always my dad who was blamed as he had the responsibility to us, we actually continued to see the OW as she was part of our close friendship group (sounds weirder than it is but can't go into too much detail). It actually all worked out ok as there was more to it than just an affair as there were mental health issues involved also.

I would hold DH fully responsible if he had an affair, I would of course be upset and angry at the OW as that would be normal but would never act upon this. If it was my best friend or sister then I would imagine I would also feel differently as in a way they would also have some sort of responsibility towards me.

I know people who have had affairs and my feelings towards them may or may not have changed towards them depending on the situation, some of them have been the person they have then gone on to marry, have children and have been incredibly happy, some have been arseholes who just shag around. It is not black and white IMO.
