Well in that case... Hallo! And. Always wanted to say to Kin that i was a bridesmaid at 2 much older cousins' double wedding where 2 brothers married 2 sisters.... Anyway.... And my dress came from none other than Bride Be Lovely. Makes me chuckle when you refer to it.

kittykat10 · 11/09/2013 15:37

Didn't pass by the way , cried for two hours today, but interviews for tomorrow and Friday.

Plus cheeky text saying he'd take my mind off it xxx

KinNora · 11/09/2013 15:52

Bring I don't even know if it was a chain, I just remember the store in Manchester selling wedding dresses with giant bows on the backside, effectively saying 'AND HERE'S MY ARSE!!!!'
I'm hoping you didn't have to deal with the dreaded arse bow.

I'm really sorry, Kitty, are you able to re-sit ?

Kirstywirsty · 11/09/2013 15:54

Sorry to hear that kitty I like your man's attitude :)

BringMeTea · 11/09/2013 15:58

Kin - It was indeed the Manchester store. Dress was beautiful! Well, I was 10 and easily pleased...

Sorry about the test Kitty. Can you resit down the line?

akaWisey · 11/09/2013 16:01

Astounded at how things change and then unchange on this thread!!!

since you ask unbant yes, I have a question (and welcome back from the wilderness).

Date I posted about which you kindly suggested I should just message to confirm (I did) then cancelled and asked to meet tomorrow night. He slipped in something about having a 9 year old DS, not specifically related to cancelled date.

So. I'm thinking it all may be a bit complicated, things are coming out, he's cancelled once and I'm Hmm.

OTOH had a very funny message from OD who looks familiar (we are from same town) and he's immediately followed it up with suggesting a date. Am sitting on hands for a bit before I open his latest message .

Thank you MNHQ for entering a dialogue and prevailing common sense etc. :)

smoothieooo · 11/09/2013 16:06

It's been a while, but all I have to say is....

...... YAAAY!!!!

I have been unable to work for the past hour while gasping at the highs and lows of this thread.

As you were...

BringBackBant · 11/09/2013 16:14

Glad that everything is back to normal.

What was the exam for kitty?

kittykat10 · 11/09/2013 16:25

A job interview , had to pass before they will interview you.

BillMasen · 11/09/2013 16:25

Well done MNHQ. Sometimes moderating can be a thankless task and you can't please everyone with decisions you make. In this case you've done the right thing and pretty swiftly too.

Afternoon all. I'm back! Glad to see it seems sorted for now.

I gave up on internet dating a few months back after the fella I was seeing decided he didn't like that I put my son before seeing him. Oh, bad me. I have 3 free nights yet it wasn't enough!

Anyways, profiles have gone but I'm speaking to someone that's a friend of a relative. So going to see if that leads to anything.

If not I have a wedding come up so could pull then Grin

kittykat10 · 11/09/2013 16:49

SweetSeraphim · 11/09/2013 17:02

Is it for training, or are you already qualified?

kittykat10 · 11/09/2013 17:04

Been qualified 7 years , went for a different job, was promised an extra year on contract but that fell thru so n ow out of work

Yogagirl17 · 11/09/2013 17:05

Well phew, glad that's all sorted then! Welcome back Bant. :)

Sorry about the job Kitty but great that you've got more interviews lined up!

I, well, I seem to be in a relationship-type thingy.

Moanranger · 11/09/2013 17:56

Yay! Bant's back - order now restored - hopefully lessons learned at HQ.

Kirstywirsty · 11/09/2013 18:24

Yay yoga .. Tell us all about it

Yogagirl17 · 11/09/2013 18:41

Can't believe it's only been a little over 3 weeks. Can't believe I nearly couldn't be bothered to meet him! He's lovely. He's kind and warm and funny. And he cooks. And he thinks I'm gorgeous. We spent a fantastic weekend together cooking and talking and walking and...well, you know! We talk on the phone almost every night - which sounds like it would be awfully hard work but we both seem to get to the end of the day and just want to connect. And he seems to be challenging me in a good way - he's very, very open and I'm only just beginning to realise how much I'd gotten used to keeping everything to myself for such a long time. We're already pretty much planning our weekends/child free time around seeing each other - not every minute of it but planning ahead to make time for each other. It's...well, I don't know exactly what it is but it's good. :)

(oh, and since good names seem to be the kiss of death I'm just going to stick with SnS cause it's a rubbish name and no reflection on him whatsoever and therefore perfect!)

49howdidthathappen · 11/09/2013 19:17

Phew!!!! Smile Smile Smile

Got to be quick as cooking for R&R Shock
