kitty - cross-posted but hahaha, I've been rumbled! Have a really good night!

jynier · 03/04/2013 04:43

The Queen was here about 18 months ago on a visit to the salt factory. Felt duty-bound to take my GD1 into the town. We saw Her Majesty 3 times; she looked so bored! Highlight was when one of the massive security men stooped down to speak to my little GD.

Have been outside again to look at the night sky; it's wonderful tonight! Makes me feel close to my little bro - he lived in a small village in Hants which also had no light pollution. RIP, darling!

MrsShrek3 · 03/04/2013 05:14

hello jynier, kitty and cafe if you're still around. just had to avoid giggling loudly and waking people up by sniggering under cushion Grin when reading tonights posts...

MrsShrek3 · 03/04/2013 05:30

having a little geography moment trying to suss out RL identity of salty Camberwick Green Grin

well no sleep here... brain malfunction again Hmm ffs. wish the bleeping worry gene would sod off tbh, had enough now. Tonight is niggly night, work stuff that doesn't need worrying about, dd stuff that can wait for later worrying and ds2 who is a crazy boy who has given himself three more injuries in the last 24hrs and is officially a Disaster Area Grin

MrsShrek3 · 03/04/2013 05:56

re Camberwick Green...I did it Wink then checked on Google [cheat] Should have known a bit faster than that too, as we're not far from a similar saltworks. Then again, Trumptonshire is an interesting place, that Windy Miller (often drunk on cider iirc?) and PC McGarry who was a bit of a maverick are something of a distraction Grin not to mention the dodgiest fire service in the universeWink [ramble]

I need a Brew

Minimammoth · 03/04/2013 06:48

Well, it's either geography or anatomy on here. Got me wondering where camber wick green is now. We also have fab night skies, not much light pollution, apart from a neighbour over the road who has put a massive security light up, so sky is wondrous too.
Also waiting for Midwifes' pelvis, especially the pubic symphysyphythingy.

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 03/04/2013 08:02

Mini you are waiting to hear themidwife's pelvis perform a symphony ? Shock. I don't know what to do with that information Hmm Grin

Minimammoth · 03/04/2013 08:15

The midwife will put us right Kitty, never fear, all will be revealed. How is littlekitty.

Midwife99 · 03/04/2013 08:19

Ah the symphysis pubis - yes it does sometimes play a tune!! Grin

Midwife99 · 03/04/2013 08:20

And the sacro-iliac joints are those ones that hurt in your lower back if you twist & lift!

BlueyDragon · 03/04/2013 09:08

Pmsl at you lot Grin.

DD made it back from her sleepover absolutely cream crackered. I don't think they slept but they are now sisters apparently - so cute!

MrsShrek, what happened to DS? Do you have an A&E loyalty card yet we did at one point.

Waves, hugs and brews to you all.

MrsShrek3 · 03/04/2013 09:58

I know that symphony Wink we played it with the local amateur orchestra once... Grin

pmsl @ a+e loyalty card. ds2 definitely qualifies for his own parking pass at the local (ironically named) NHS walk in centre, but as we are away in cumbria, he's intent on sampling everything in my first aid kit and seeing how much of it he can wear at once. He has no respect for his limbs and appears not to like to have skin on his knees, hands and elbows as a general rule. Last night's efforts involved running the length of the garden (long and steep) jumping "over" the rockery despite the existence of several large trees in his path, and falling out the other side on to, yes you've got it, a tarmac and gravel footpath. deep flap cut on right hand with gravel in it, both knees gone again (what was left of em) right hip grazed. Pest. I was only a couple of yards away from him too. oh, and he doesn't appear to like having knees in trousers either.
