You had been to a committee meeting and had a drink afterwards in a pub with the comittee and then walked the 10 minute journey home with a male committe member at 9.45pm?

Just a yes or no will do.

My ds was annoyed and I think he over reacted, he says he doesn't know this man and he could be a rapist.

sounds like he was a tad jealous:o

PinkKerPlink · 02/05/2006 16:30

oh and yes most prob

beckybrastraps · 02/05/2006 16:30

No.

Presumably you knew him?!

AllieBongo · 02/05/2006 16:30

not at all. He'd be glad that I didn't walk home alone! Much safer

Northerner · 02/05/2006 16:30

Yes, I know him!

no

Esmummy · 02/05/2006 16:31

Yes if it was someone he didn't know/hadn't heard of.
No if it was some he knew/we knew

BettySpaghetti · 02/05/2006 16:31

no

Freckle · 02/05/2006 16:32

Absolutely not. What's to be annoyed about?

Northerner · 02/05/2006 16:33

Just realised I put ds was annoyed - it was of course dh not ds!

OP posts:
beckybrastraps · 02/05/2006 16:34

So your dh is annoyed because he hasn't vetted him?!

Northerner · 02/05/2006 16:36

My dh is prone to bouts of insecurity and jealousy. Sometimes I just wonder if I am being unreasonable and need to know I am not!

OP posts:
beckybrastraps · 02/05/2006 16:37

You are not!

AllieBongo · 02/05/2006 16:37

not being silly, if you feel comfortable with this man then dh should be glad he walked with you like Is said. give him a loving smack around the chops

heartbreaking · 02/05/2006 16:38

no

Northerner · 02/05/2006 16:39

His gripe is why did I choose to walk with this man and not get a taxi.

OP posts:
edam · 02/05/2006 16:39

No, dh would not have a problem with that - surprised it's an issue tbh. Think your dh is being very OTT.

pmsl at loving smack around the chops
fgs what an over-reaction - why would you need to get a taxi??
this would tick me off mightily, I must say

LadyTophamHatt · 02/05/2006 17:03

No.
Dh would be more annoyed I'd paid cold hard cash for a taxi for such a short distance.
By the time you'd waited for a taxi I suspect you could have walked home twice!!

Your Dh is being a ridiculous.

handlemecarefully · 02/05/2006 17:04

He'd be pleased I hadn't walked home alone.
