You had been to a committee meeting and had a drink afterwards in a pub with the comittee and then walked the 10 minute journey home with a male committe member at 9.45pm?

Just a yes or no will do.

My ds was annoyed and I think he over reacted, he says he doesn't know this man and he could be a rapist.

No, would be glad I was home in one piece for when DD wakes in the night Grin

DH doesn't really do jealousy of other men. Sometimes jealous of amount of time i spend on MN Grin but has learned to live with it.

Feistybird · 02/05/2006 21:27

No.

morningpaper · 02/05/2006 21:28

The committee member sounds like a gent ensuring you got home ok

your DH should shake his hand, the miserable bugger

Blu · 02/05/2006 21:36

No. not by any stretch of the imagination.

WWWontSlagOffAnyone · 02/05/2006 21:37

No, not if it was someone I knew and he knew I was going to the pub after the meeting. He trusts me, quite rightly.

anorak · 02/05/2006 21:37

So could anyone be a rapist. Is walking home alone safer? I don't think so.

WWWontSlagOffAnyone · 02/05/2006 21:39

Btw, I didn't read any other responses before I answered but just have and most of us have husbands/partners who wouldn't mind. You're not being unreasonable imo.

motherinferior · 02/05/2006 21:47

Er, no.

edam · 02/05/2006 21:49

MI! Did you get my email?

veNivIDiViCkiqV · 02/05/2006 22:09

No. He would be glad he didnt have to come and pick me up Grin

PinkTulips · 02/05/2006 22:17

no, but a bit of jealousy would be nice now and again though, i can wander in at 3 in the morning and announce i've out drinking on my own with some guy he's never heard of and he doesn't blink an eye whereas i hear he's been chatting to some woman he works with and i want to claw her eyes out! Blush

Tortington · 02/05/2006 22:46

no my dh wouldnt be bothered becuase i give him no reason to be - that along with the fact that he is built like a brick shit house and scared of nowt, is up his own arse and knows the universe only exists for his own pleasure helps Grin

1Baby1Bump · 02/05/2006 22:48

no- if i knew the guy
yes- if i didn't

HappyDaddy · 03/05/2006 11:57

No if i knew the guy.

No if i didn't. Just cos I don't know him doesn't mean there's anything wrong with him. Do I have to meet everyone my wife speaks to to vet them? I don't think so.

bizzi · 03/05/2006 14:44

No, he's wonderfully trusting.

desperateSCOUSEwife · 03/05/2006 14:45

he would be bothered more if i had to walk home on my own

alligator · 03/05/2006 14:52

No Tho he would be surprised at me leaving the pub that early tho Grin

ProfYaffle · 03/05/2006 15:01

No, dh is impossible to provoke into jealousy.

Twinkie1 · 03/05/2006 15:03

No

littlemissbossy · 03/05/2006 15:04

Yes mine would - as stupid as it seems to you and me. He wouldn't show he was annoyed but he'd make various sarcastic comments all on the back of his jealously. Then I'd do it again to really p him offGrin

TinyGang · 03/05/2006 15:09

No.

Northerner · 03/05/2006 15:09

Thanks guys.

Will show dh this tonight to back up my case of 'you are being a a*sehole.'

No but he would ask who he was and give me a long curious stare to see if i was up to anything.

quanglewangle · 09/05/2006 22:42

No.
He would be pleased I wasn't walking alone, especially if it was late.
tbh, I feel more vulnerable in a taxi, but that is just me.
