Bantam lol at "ginny pig"

lubeybooby · 09/11/2012 13:59

OWW Shock you're right.

Right, no more titles mentioning anything or anyone relevant in RL. Stupid titles only

Also while we're talking about titles, as thread starter for the first one can anyone who does one please call it the 'dating thread' and not the 'online dating thread'. Petty maybe but RL dating is relevant here too -plus all kinds of chit chat--

'ginny-pigs' (snort!) if you can't spell it, you can't have it. I used to use far too many exclamation marks. I'm really trying to cut down.

phone died and can't access okc from work computer. wonder if stand-up comedian has been sending frantic messages apologising for slightly-off-almost-racist-jokes he has no idea whether I've seen or not ( I haven't)

Sodding bus lane fine. £65! (that exclamation mark is allowed ) five past one on a saturday afternoon?am sure the sign said one. I'll need to check it. more stress. even less money.

MsCellophane · 09/11/2012 14:11

She's 23

Ginny pig, surely if you have a pet, you learn how to spell the type of pet it is?

lulubellaboozle · 09/11/2012 14:15

I wonder is she has a jerbal too? Or a Hamstir, oh the possibilities are endless!!

Yogagirl17 · 09/11/2012 14:17

I have a dug and a byrd

raskolnikov · 09/11/2012 14:22

I'd like a little dig. Used to have 2 cuts and a humstop.

raskolnikov · 09/11/2012 14:24

Humstop got out of his cog and disappured.

lulubellaboozle · 09/11/2012 14:24

I always fancied keeping chickins and gotes!

I'm off out on a "date" tonight that's not really a date - going over to his house tonight but not sure what the atmosphere will be like with the bad news. I'm not going to mention it though I think he will because a) he's bricking it and b) he's bricking it. His mum's told him to make sure his will's up-to-date which isn't helpful . . . Do you know what, though, we'll have a good time because we always do, I really enjoy being with him even if it's just chatting and no action. He's lovely but just going through such a bad time at the moment. I wish things were different, but they're not, so no use getting upset really. It's not like I'm going to stop seeing him or anything just because he's having some problems so the only thing to do is just to carry on as best we can and keep on having the good times.

Actually, I am not sure if it's still dating any more, seems to have moved beyond that a bit. It might even be erm er hmm one of them R things.

raskolnikov · 09/11/2012 14:59

His mum's tactful isn't she Western? I'm sure that however scared he is, if things have moved on a bit, then he'll just be happier to be with you and have you to talk to as and when. What a horrible thing to be facing.

Movingforward123 · 09/11/2012 15:03

western how long have you been seeing him? wow one of those R things. I appear to be in one of those too Confused Grin

raskolnikov · 09/11/2012 15:04

Me too Moving - its a bit scary Confused in a good way Smile

OhWesternWind · 09/11/2012 15:09

Funny how that happens . . .

I've been seeing him since September, not a huge amount of time, but I just feel that things have moved on a fair bit recently emotionally (physical stuff has been there for a while Grin). I am an unromantic old bugger so this whole thing has taken me by surprise a little.

bantamrooster · 09/11/2012 15:36

GinnyPigGirl works in further education, and has a graduate degree. In the last 3 emails from her (in the last two hours) there have been 19 sentences. Every! Single! One of them! has ended in an exclamation mark, or several, or a question mark. Apart from the 5 lols.

I'm not sure if I'm being too picky here. She reminds me of Safrican. Has anyone done a scientifically validated study of a correlation between number of exclamation marks in emails and mental instability?

Still, she's cute and she lives in my city.

Sigh. Roll on the dateless weekend.

OhWesternWind · 09/11/2012 15:41

Bantam, there must be some weird undercurrents in your profile that act as a magnet for the, how shall we say, rather puppyish of nature. It's scary. Maybe not quite at the level of qualifying as mental instability, but very, very wearing. Cuteness and proximity aren't sufficient reasons to ignore things like this, you know.

Your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to get yourself online pronto and rustle up a date for this weekend. Five million bonus points if you manage two.

lulubellaboozle · 09/11/2012 15:53

Bant what happened to SurreyGirl ? Or is that the answer "Surrey"?

bantamrooster · 09/11/2012 15:58

Western - I can get a date, that's not a problem. I could even get two fairly easily.

Getting a date with someone I fancy however, is a bit more of a challenge.

I don't think there's anything in my profile that attracts the scary - I think with both Safrican and GinnyPig, I mailed them first because they looked nice in their pictures and their profiles didn't show how odd they would be. Saying that, GinnyPig may yet turn out to be normal in real life, I just asked her for coffee this weekend, maybe she'll be free, maybe not. I shall endeavour to find out and shall report back to base once I know.

Oh and I think Venezuela girl is on for Sunday. And she is, quite frankly, stunning, and educated and sweet. And there is a picture of her in a bikini. hmm :)
