On the train on my way home, children not mentioned.Hmm had coffee & cake & a quick swing around the wellcome museum to see the milimetre thick plastinated sliced man. Shook my hand on greeting & departure.

Very funny, lots to talk about & no way his photos did him justice at all. He wore eyeliner. He looks like a gingerer Tim minchin (watch) Wink would quite like to see him again, he's smart, hot & good fun, but no biggie if he doesn't call. expect agonised 'WHHHHHY HASN'T HE PHONED!!!!???? post by Tuesday

MacAndCheese · 11/11/2012 15:36

Lol lulu I shall do updates from the loos. Wink

Snape what cake did you eat?

snapespeare · 11/11/2012 15:38

bant cubana, corner of lower marsh..tapas & mojitos....also a nice pub & a cheap, cheerful Thai cafe further down on lower marsh. . Bar downstairs at the old vic nice, might not be open on a Sunday. Hope it goes super well. :-)

snapespeare · 11/11/2012 15:42

Victoria sponge. He had coffee walnut. :)

MacAndCheese · 11/11/2012 16:02

Ooh. I might make a sponge.

Scattylatte · 11/11/2012 16:04

Snape, it sounds like it wasn't a waste of a trip. Good.
My walking date was smaller than 5ft 11. He was around 5ft 8. Same as me. Men and their height issues eh. He was very good company, intelligent, funny.
Did I fancy him? No. Did he fancy me? Don't think so.
Next one, of he turns up is on Wednesday.

snapespeare · 11/11/2012 16:13

Sirius black has checked my profile on OKc for the first time today, less than half an hour after we shook hands and said cheerio. If he's observant, he's seen that I 'has children'. If he isn't, then I'll probably need to mention it if I hear from him again.

Ok, I admit it. I kinda liked him. It was the skull rings that did it.

MacAndCheese · 11/11/2012 16:37

Snape - If he doesn't call, then he's an idiot.

Scatty - Confused for you. What does your date on Wednesday entail?

Speaking of dates, wtf do I wear? I dated Mr Won't Make A Move for so long that I can't think what to wear for drinks. Hmm

questions2008 · 11/11/2012 16:38

I think loo updates should be compulsory!

Well I wasn't technically on the sofa but I've now renewed my membership and so I'm definitely off the sofa...I saw my v hot Coffee guy who had fallen in love (not with me) back online so might be having some Coffee in the meantime.

So far today I've managed a wink and 2 messages, no replies yet though :(

snape so do you think you'll see SB again?

bant hope you're not still waiting!

MacAndCheese · 11/11/2012 16:40

Would that be coffee or Coffee questions? Wink

questions2008 · 11/11/2012 16:53

Oh he's definitely of the Coffee variety Mac Grin

lulubellaboozle · 11/11/2012 17:00

always easier to dress for Coffee, than coffee or drinks!!! Grin

Mac i think dressed up jeans for drinks, with heels and a blazer or other top - look like you've made an effort but not too OTT.

MacAndCheese · 11/11/2012 17:17

Haha lulu don't tempt me.

So. Jeans (these babies) with either a white/cream/printed t shirt.

I don't know about shoes Confused. Flats (leopard print) or boots?

lulubellaboozle · 11/11/2012 17:21

lol!! I'd go with the boots (with a heel?) and a print t-shirt, have fun!!

Movingforward123 · 11/11/2012 17:24

hey everyone, hope your weekend has gone well.

Just thought I would update on the surprise for mr w. he loved it, really enjoyed the whole thing, said how amazing it was Smile so all went well.

We had planned to go to a resturant so did that after. had a lovely time. but then i suggested going out for drinks, he said no as we had planned to watch a film at home, but i said I didnt really want to even though its what we had planned because due to him working so much he always falls asleep 5 minutes into the film.

so we then got in an argument over it becuase he said I was huffing because I didnt get my own way. but I like to enjoy my saturday nights and not just watch a film alone while he sleeps. Confused

MacAndCheese · 11/11/2012 17:24

They have a little heel I suppose. Not entirely flat, but that's a good call lulu - in the flats I'm likely to develop frostbite Hmm

MacAndCheese · 11/11/2012 17:26

Moving I'm glad you had a lovely time. I think you have a valid point about him falling asleep, although I can't really talk - I always fall asleep watching films Blush

How did you leave it?

mercury7 · 11/11/2012 17:33

can you believe this profile:

A man's-man, ladies-man and gentleman all rolled in to one - without the need for a split personality!
looking for a woman of 8-10/10 looks with a nice figure who preferably wants an uncomplicated ongoing relationship.
My own looks are 7or8/10 to be honest. hehe I am greedy, but do tend to attract beautiful women because of my personality more than anything else
No time wasters please - only on this site for a few more days.

doesnt he sound like a real..slimy b@stard

watchoutforthatsnail · 11/11/2012 17:35

oh snape, im damn jealous. why cant i find a tim minchin-a-like with skull rings :) hope you hear from him again.

sponge - hurrah for sounding like you again. Have you decided what you want to do?

bant - hope its gone well.

house viewing was fab. I want it. 3 other people have also viewed it today. they also want it.
Ive text ( because the agency isnt open today) and hope that the others havent thought to do so.
My mother also knows someone at that agency, and has called ( no answer) and has sent a text asking if there is anything she can do.

We can but hope, but it was really perfect.

Job was fab. Sold an fab amount today, i love it. I also have a bottle of nice ( expensive) wine and hotel choc chocolates as a prize, from the store manager, for being ' outstanding'

My job nightmare this summer was horiffic, it really was. but it seems that maybe it was all for the best and things do happen for a reason.

i do hope this is the case with the house. can you all send good woo my way:)

MadameOvary · 11/11/2012 17:36

^^ Urgh Envy

MadameOvary · 11/11/2012 17:37

watch that wasn't to you btw!
Seeing Skyfall tonight, if DP ever gets through sodding rugby traffic!

Movingforward123 · 11/11/2012 17:43

well we argued, then he came back to mine and we spoke about it, then watched the film and he fell asleep after 5 minutes Hmm

but normally we dont argue about things we just stop talking for weeks or months. so its an improvment.

and in the morning he said sorry we argued, and he could understand that its annoying that he falls asleep, as he cant believe he did it again.

the thing is, I can see he is making an effort compared to how he was before, as he never ever used to take me out. so he is trying. and he is very loving towards me and cuddles and kisses me affectiontly. and when we have sex its very good and with emotions involved etc. but and this is a big but, I want more sex and he just doesnt seem too interested in it.

He clearly finds me attractive and loves the whole dressing up/massage thing, but thats its he was happy with sex once. I would have loved it more times, he didnt want any when we got in or in the morning. Sad

and like i said its not because hes not into me and he is being very affectionate, so how can i really complain...

bantamrooster · 11/11/2012 17:48

Ok on the tube heading home. Will put together a suitable summary in a little while. But in the meantime :) ? Confused ? Grin ?Confused?

watchoutforthatsnail · 11/11/2012 17:50

oooohhhh and in exciting news, our team at work are all going out.
WE ARE GOING OUT.
This is major news. i dont often get to go out to a pub in a mixed group. In fact it never happens. hasnt happened for years.

So - it seems my social life is also going to pick up quite a bit.
which can only be a good thing. All my friends here are married people who only want to stay in, my social life tends to revolve around sitting in their houses. I go out to gigs and stuff, and the cinema and meals out, but they arent good for talking to random people and getting to know people.
its all good, its all changing :)

Yogagirl17 · 11/11/2012 17:54

Well, day out with DD was great (except for its effects on my wallet). Got her a dress - on sale, grown up enough to make her happy, not so grown up to make me cringe. But there was also the cardi to go with the dress, and another cardi, and some boots, and birthday presents for 5 parties she's been invited to... Actually, in a past life I would have been over the moon to get so much stuff for just over £100 (thank u Primark & BHS) but these days I feel a bit ill thinking about it. :-{

fayster He's been nice to me before. On many occassions. Until he's not nice. Maggot-flavoured fuckmuppet indeed.

watch lots of woo for the house - I so hope you get it!!!!!!! (extra ! for you)

Snape sounds interesting, lets hope he gets in touch. Will you text him?

I quite like the idea of a Tim-Minchin-alike but in think in reality I need someone a bit more normal.
