Evening all,... Thank you to whoever came up with this lovely shiney new thread title!! Grin

As for Fedora, well I looked and it certainly wasn't her I saw in the picture!! He did go to Italy though, I saw pictures on his camera of the Bay of Naples, and also a few video clips of boat trips. And that's when I saw one single picture of a young blonde who he called 'Fedora'. 'I took a picture of her as she's very attractive and I wanted to remember what she looked like'. Jeez, I had a bit of a go, but I left that one because I couldn't be arsed to have an argument. This was about 4 days before he left.

Anyway, onto other things. Had one of these evenings where I can't stop my brain from whirling over details from the last few months. Times when I believed him because it meant an easier life. Believing him meant not being called 'paranoid' or insecure' or told to 'grow up'. Believing him meant some peaceful times on my own, not having to put up with him stomping about, resenting the fact that he was here. Believing him the time he claimed he got a 4 1/2 hour train back from London one evening in November when he smelt of aftershave.

Arrrggghhh! I know there's nothing I can do to stop this churning, but I am SO annoyed at myself. There were signs, but I just hoped things would get better. He always complained of being under pressure at work, so I had faith that he was trying his best.

Am so tempted to contact his boss and let him know what he's being doing under the 'guise' of work. Obviously, I wouldn't do it, but it is so tempting,......

Need to remember revenge is a life well lived blah blah!! Confused

How is it that you know though?

RichTeaAreCrap · 04/09/2012 22:27

Anyway, I am not getting drawn into it anymore. I will do as the other posters are doing and stop engaging.

BabylonPI · 04/09/2012 22:27
biggestregret · 04/09/2012 22:27

** - perfect title for the next thread, nice one BabylonPI Grin

SweetFannyCraddock · 04/09/2012 22:27

and I havent said I was leaving, ive left the thread a couple of times because I got a bit fed up. said I was going tonight because i was accused of trollhunting but felt that I should defend myself.

then you pop up with your conspiracy theories and I felt i should answer them.

I try not to run away from things, you see.

OhDearNigel · 04/09/2012 22:28

For anyone doubting Lou's story maybe they can acquaint themselves with this thread.

skyebluesapphire · 04/09/2012 22:28

Ok I've said it before and I'll say it again (sigh) just don't engage, ignore and it can't descend into a bun fight. We do not want MN to close down Lou's thread so if you genuinely care about her then don't respond.

If you just want a fight then go and do it somewhere else.

This is Lou's thread remember.

Night Lou xx

SweetFannyCraddock · 04/09/2012 22:28

actually, if you are making those accusations, I think you do.

they are pretty hefty, in the light of recent events on other boards.

MarianneM · 04/09/2012 22:29

Nigel - fair point, but what I would answer to that is that my DH wouldn't do that. And if he did, he has been such a loving husband for years that I could not possibly suddenly reduce him to "cunt" or "chutney".

BabylonPI · 04/09/2012 22:29

Glad I'm not the only one fooled by the wasabi Grin

Worst meal out. Ever. Blush

SweetFannyCraddock · 04/09/2012 22:29

I'm sorry skye and nigel. i am not doubting lou's story. i am cross about being called a trollhunter and richteas posts.

my apologies.

lunar1 · 04/09/2012 22:30

It must be Tuesday...

Wishing you every strength for the week ahead Lou.

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 04/09/2012 22:30

I was lucky enough to hear about wasabi before I encountered iy
T, and don't like hot foods. I did warn my friend, but she didn't believe me... Grin

Should we be thinking of new thread titles for the morning? We're rapidly filling up.

MarianneM · 04/09/2012 22:31

OldLady - lots of posters were referring to the OP's approach as dignified. I explained why I disagreed.

RichTeaAreCrap · 04/09/2012 22:31

You have said you were leaving on more than one occassion Sweet, as many posters can probably also confirm.

I try not to run away from things, you see. Ironic.

Clytaemnestra · 04/09/2012 22:32

I'm not RL friends with anyone on here. Not online friends with anyone here either. Got no agenda here.

The atmosphere on this thread is one of the weirdest I've seen on mumsnet. If people have reasonable questions about continuity, why shouldn't they ask them? Even posts which have reasonable advice and no implication in them AND that OP has answered without seeming to take offense have been leapt upon by people saying go away we don't want you here. Advice isn't actually welcomed by supporters - OP has never said she doesn't want to hear opinions that don't toe the narcissistic party line or that she only wants a "support thread" that I've seen.

Think I'm going to agree with Marianne and others and bow out. Hope it all works out.

CockBollocks · 04/09/2012 22:32

marianne if my DH did what Lou's did I suspect I would hire an airplane to write "Cockbollocks DH is a fucking cunt arse" across the sky.

That is all.

SweetFannyCraddock · 04/09/2012 22:32

maybe twice. once on this thread, again on another (and i did leave)

poster leaves thread then rejoins.

alert the elders.

RichTeaAreCrap · 04/09/2012 22:33

In light of what recent events on other boards? I have no idea what you are talking about. What recent events and what other boards?

BabylonPI · 04/09/2012 22:33

BiggestRegret

Winner then!!

We got you a new title Wink

MadBusLady · 04/09/2012 22:34

I can top that worst restaurant mistake with a classic. All-you-can-eat buffet at our local Indian (which DP always takes as a personal challenge), we loaded up our plates from the hotplates, which were arranged under quite dim lights. I ladle what I take to be a pile of small, thin green beans onto my plate. Back at the table (also dimly lit) I take a mahoosive forkful of green beans, stuff it into my gob and discover that they are in fact...

...chillis.

Whereupon I go Confused Shock and then Angry Angry Angry.

That was not a pleasant ten minutes!

NotGeoffVader · 04/09/2012 22:34

And I was thinking "Wasabi all about" was a good title.

RichTeaAreCrap · 04/09/2012 22:35

And now I am doing exactly the same - going against what I said I will do. I'm not engaging anymore, I will ignore. I don't want Lou's post to end up deleted.

Sorry Lou, the recent post just made me really angry on your behalf.

OhDearNigel · 04/09/2012 22:39

Right you lot. STOP ARGUING.

I have a wedding cake on order for Friday morning and instead of spending the evening finishing it off and icing it, I have got mixed up in all this !

Do I have to get out the cuffs and captor spray ???

BabylonPI · 04/09/2012 22:39

MadBusLady that just made me snort a little and I've woken up DH Sad oops!!

"Wasabi all about" is very good NotGeoff especially as a few of us got fooled by it!!! Could work as a title too..... At least Lou has options Wink
