Mens toys?

Was chatting to a male friend over the weekend and we decided that women seem to be fine with dildos and vibrators etc but seem creeped out by a man who wants a toy for himself. So all I want to know is, are you creeped out by a man wanting to use a male toy (artificial vagina) and if you are, why?

Yes, they are gross. If I found one in a guy's sock drawer I would be repulsed. It's probably an unfair double standard

MsOnatopp · 31/07/2012 14:37

Do you know what it is that makes them gross in your mind Erik? I wasn't sure why I thought it.

Yes, I would be creeped out if a man used a fake vagina on his own and I can't really explain why tbh! I have no problems with male sex toys - anal beads, cock rings, anal dildos etc - but I suppose they're really used during sex play with a partner than alone.

Something about the thought of a man shagging a plastic vagina on his own is just a lot bit Urgh!!!

LovesPeace · 31/07/2012 18:47

My ex bought one for himself when he was Skyping/sexting 20yr old lasses.
He'd wank using one and pretend it was them.
It was all I could do not to put ground glass or itching powder in it, but I am evil. Smile

MsOnatopp · 31/07/2012 19:14

What's the difference between a man using one and a women using a rampant rabbit?

OP posts:
FaffTastic · 31/07/2012 19:21

There is no difference OP. I can't explain why I'm a bit repulsed by it and I know it's hyprocritical of me as I use sex toys on my own. I have no problems with men doing solitary masturbating and using moisturiser, oil or whatever it is they want to use to make it a posh wank but a fake vagina is just a step too far for me.

Sounds like you're doing research Grin. What your view on them?

BonkeySaysTeamGBAreTheMollocks · 31/07/2012 19:24

I saw a 'vagina in a larger can' recently on a certain sex toy website.

Just wrong, even dh agreed.

No problem with any other toy, just the weird vagina in can type things this includes blow up dolls with holes! .

BonkeySaysTeamGBAreTheMollocks · 31/07/2012 19:25

Here it is!

MinnieBar · 31/07/2012 19:25

Google 'fleshlight'.

Then wish you hadn't?

FaffTastic · 31/07/2012 19:25

Yep, blow up dolls would fall into the creepy weirdly fucker category for me too

FaffTastic · 31/07/2012 19:28

Sweet Jesus, a mouth and a beer can combined?? WTAF

MsOnatopp · 31/07/2012 19:30

Faff, I basically thought the same as you but after talking to friend am wondering if maybe it was a completely unreasonable view.

If women can use something as a replacement for and one that can even look like a knob, why can't men use a fake vagina?

We can use fingers but a vibrator is better. It seems odd that we criticize men for wanting the same idea, especially when no one seems to know why it bothers them.

Ooo I didn't realise that was a mouth don't look that closely they do do vagina ones , but Shock at this!!

Stonefield · 31/07/2012 19:31

From a man's point of view, honestly, no. Maybe it is a double standard, but its not freaky for a woman to have a rabbit or whatever but if a guy has a Fleshlight he's wrong, if i found out a mate of mine had one I'd think he was pretty sad.

MsOnatopp · 31/07/2012 19:32

Yeah I don't understand putting it in a can. What's inside it seems fair enough though. It's hardly any different to a dildo for a woman.

OP posts:
FaffTastic · 31/07/2012 19:33

There's something about those Fleshlights that remind of the plant from Little Shop of Horrors - same kind of lips I think Grin

Beamae · 31/07/2012 19:37

Is it because a woman is likely to keep her sex toys clean so as to avoid infection but a man is just going to keep spoofing in his fake vag until it crusts over and grows a fungus. And then some more.

MsOnatopp · 31/07/2012 19:39

Beamae - I honestly wouldn't think of anyone doing that Shock. That certainly wasn't my problem with it anyway.

OP posts:
BonkeySaysTeamGBAreTheMollocks · 31/07/2012 19:40

to Beamae's post! Shock

Bromdad · 31/07/2012 19:57

"Ooo I didn't realise that was a mouth don't look that closely they do do vagina ones , but at this!!"

Read the reviews of the 'vampire' toy. The 22 year old virgins description is priceless.

MsOnatopp · 31/07/2012 19:57

NO NO NO!! Don't do it! I read it and regret it. Ick.

OP posts:
BonkeySaysTeamGBAreTheMollocks · 31/07/2012 20:01

I read it and snorted.

Dh gave me a Hmm look when I showed him why! Grin

FaffTastic · 31/07/2012 20:04

Have just realised that the byline for the Fleshlights are Succu Dry

Am surprised that quite a number of the reviews are by straight couples. Not something I'd want to use with a man though handy to have I suppose if you feel to lazy to give him a blowjob - just let the fleshy lager can do it instead Grin

MinnieBar · 31/07/2012 21:09

'Feels just like the real, undead deal'

HOW DO THEY KNOW?!!!

I am very surprised it's used so much by couples. [naive]

MsOnatopp · 31/07/2012 21:14

I think I would be OK using one with a partner (not a weird can one though). Don't see it is much different to a hand/blow job. Never have before though.
