I'm currently single and I don't hate it, but I don't love it either. I'm often lonely. Sometimes I'm terribly lonely. I have fab kids and friends I love, but I'd like a partner too. I truly don't care what he looks like or anything, but he so totally has to not be a fuckwit. Where do all the emotionally intelligent, funny, bright, curious, non-anxious, non-ambivalent, non-childish men hang out? Anyone any idea? Does your wonderful DH have a wonderful single brother? If he liked art and talking and listening and trying new stuff and snogging for hours and stuff like that, that would be so good.

Dp's best mate is single (has been for ages)
He is lovely and great with kids but is always the 'friend'
He is a runner and has a good job and his own house!
He is v shy but I think he's great- have set him up with some of my mates but they were too young/ not interested.

Nightmare!

buggyRunner · 17/12/2011 16:36

He is 37 btw

Flanelle · 17/12/2011 16:45

It's a lovely age. It's my age! And is he mature, happy, intellectual, uninhibited?

What area are you in? Love is not so easy where distance is concerned. Give us a rough area. I can offer you a 39 yr old mad slightly alcoholic arty veggie type - only likes women who are bad to him... (north west) Xmas Smile

buggyRunner · 17/12/2011 17:51

My friends also in the north west Grin

can i add kind and sweet to the list? i miss kind, sweet men - i'm sure there used to be lots of them about when i was too young to appreciate them.

CupOfGoodCheer · 17/12/2011 18:10

I can donate a very nice looking, rugby playing Welshman. Has a child by an ex, but is a good dad, lots of fun and hasn't met the right laydee yet. (N Wales, 32)
