When Me and my oh go out she works in the place where we go... she constantly stares,he goes to get a drink she stares at me,we walk back in she stares at me...it's not a dirty look just stares its starting to make me question is she worried i'm going too see her look at my oh? but when i look shes only staring at me and looks straight past him...are they having a affair do you think?? wasnt sure where to post this.

Perhaps she is just daydreaming and not really seeing you at all. I know I'm a bit guilty of doing that sometimes, especially if I'm a bit tired or bored.

I certainly wouldn't think she was having an affair with my DH - what a strange conclusion to come to

What? Why would someone staring at you mean they are having an affair with your husband?

hmmmm that is odd. What else (apart from the staring) would make you think your OH could be having an affair?!? That's a pretty big jump. Not sure I follow your train of thought. Maybe you remind her of someone she knows or has lost in her life? I sometimes stare only momentarily (try not to but can't help it) at certain people that resemble my dearly departed parent. Maybe she finds you attractive? Or likes your dress sense?

I don't know but what the hell is she looking at, she does it constantly every time we go in there it makes me quite uncomfortable, she doesnt do it to anyone else i've made a point of looking cause i thought she was someone who just stares alot.

Maybe i am over thinking the affair bit but that is the only thing i could come up with.

Just smile at her when you see her staring

Maybe she is depressed and on medication. It makes people "stare" when in fact they are not looking you at all.

Or she's jealous of something you wear or your handbag or some such.

Yes maybe she fancies you or finds you attractive, had you considered that?

I reckon she's a long lost relative. Or you stole a BF and broke her heart 10 years ago or something. Or she knows you're set to inherit what is rightfully hers and she knows but you don't (yet).

Could she know you from somewhere and be trying to place you?

Why don't you just ask why she's staring at you?

I find it odd that a) you jump to the conclusion that she might be banging your DH and b) you post about it on here before even asking her 'What are you staring at?'.

If someone is looking at me and making me uncomfortable, I ask them as to why they feel the need to stare. This is coming from a woman who works with offenders and will ask outright, no violence needed.
