Cos me and my mates are sick of staying in gossiping and drinking wine on a Friday night. Why does there seem to be more single women then men?? Smile

garlic may I commend you on your excellent choice?! He lives in the New Forest though which no one else seems to!

Oh and mutha apparently the boy does iron!

hobbgoblin · 18/06/2011 21:04

You are SUCH a liar Pan. Grin

Snorbs · 18/06/2011 21:41

I'm going to start work at a university soon. One of my friends was telling me how it will be a brilliant place to meet women. Said friend didn't seem to be able to understand that I wouldn't want a relationship with someone half my age. Partly because it just seems downright creepy (sleep with someone young enough to be my daughter? Eurgh) and second because, well, they're a bit dull aren't they?

AwesomePan · 18/06/2011 21:43

mutha - photos not available I'm afraid - and yes you are deeply shallow, as it were! Having said that, friend in Lot2 is finishing his training to be a homeopath at a college in the Lakes AND has long-standing friends who own the farm beside Featherstone Castle, which is near you, and he sees them a lot. I could tease him with you? Just say the word....

hobb - ???. Yes it's true. I DO rob banks.Grin

chris123456 · 18/06/2011 21:44

I hope Rob likes it!

AwesomePan · 18/06/2011 21:48

Evening Snorbs! Hoping you are well. Really sorry to know of the redundancy bit. Was on that carousel, albeit years ago, and know how much it sucks, though then was without dependents.

And yes, the uni-thing? You're right, they ARE as dull as ditch-thingy.

hobbgoblin · 18/06/2011 21:50

Ha ha chris! How are you enjoying the adoration. Could be a lucky night for you and pan plus a couple of others judging by keenness displayed here!

hobbgoblin · 18/06/2011 21:52

Pan I have to say you look weirdly like my exp's brother! And thus rather like xp!!

chris123456 · 18/06/2011 21:55

Hob - all chat I'm afraid - no one has fronted up, salmon admired my nipples and then scarpered!

AwesomePan · 18/06/2011 21:57

I have grown my hair since then hobb. Tho' as I say even that photo looks little like me. still not sure on the 'lying' thing. hey ho.

but the stone stairway is uber fine. Couldn't resist.

fivegomadindorset · 18/06/2011 21:58

Yes, and he is turning up tomorrow as are my two single sisters one in her 40's and the other 39.

hobbgoblin · 18/06/2011 22:03

Pan I was referring to quasi reference. However, it's no good having a pic that doesnt actually look like you now is it?! Paving lovely!

Chris beware of terms like fronting up on a dating thread where nipple exposure has already occurred...

chris123456 · 18/06/2011 22:05

Did I show the goodies too early?

AwesomePan · 18/06/2011 22:07

Well I DID say it didn't look like me! At that time I had a young lad walk away from an interview with me, because he said I 'looked too scary'Grin Whereas I am a bundle of fluff really.

chris - hobbs is right imo. But then these women can be sooo flighty.Smile

hobbgoblin · 18/06/2011 22:12

I don't reckon so. Nobody can really express any real interest without A full frontal topless photograph can they?

Don't think you said where you Are though so maybe why no date offers... Nor whAt your preferences were...

I volunteer myself for at least 2 mumsnet dates from this thread. Pan, you Are on the wish list if I mKe it to the lakes this summer; then muther, and ideally I'd Like a 3rd non girl one since I am heterosexual.

Am I asking too much of this thread?

garlicnutter · 18/06/2011 22:21

Barely in the region, Moodykat (Herefordshire and no car!) I'm not much of a catch at the moment tbh, but the thought cheered me up - thanks!

Anyway, a date would make me a prospective stepmother, wouldn't it? Shock Shock Hmm

Moodykat · 18/06/2011 22:25

Lol! I quite fancy a mumsnetter stepmum! How do you fancy step grandchildren too?!

AwesomePan · 18/06/2011 22:25

hobb - love (again) your verve. I am def. up for a date with you, tho' distance and circs. could be a prob. I am at a friends birthday party in Birmingham next weekend which is the nearest I will be to London soon, coming down from G/t Manchester/Derbyshire NOT Lakes. You have an incredibly pretty face, which kinda wins the day!

any other intentions being expressed?

lookingfoxy · 18/06/2011 22:25

Oh can I pimp myself AND my ex lol.

Im 5ft 11 so need a tall man, size 10 and 34E

Ex really good looking, dark hair going white at the sides (very distinguished looking) and actually a really nice bloke, good job, easy going etc.

Oh, but we're in Scotland, so no takers there then, c'mon girls, stop me worrying about him!!

AwesomePan · 18/06/2011 22:29

Scotland - I have a really nice and big cousin in Edinburgh, no kids and a really good bloke, but a bit shy.

Lordy we need that spread sheet!!

lookingfoxy · 18/06/2011 22:30

We both love Edinburgh, but unfortunately on the complete opposite side of the country also on the coast!!

wotabouttheworkers · 18/06/2011 22:32

Too busy looking for one myself! Good luck...

AwesomePan · 18/06/2011 22:32

shame - cousin is about 6 foot four, but as gentle as a lamb.

garlicnutter · 18/06/2011 22:33

Wow, Pan, you're on fire tonight :)

Foxy - I may be able to pimp a friend in Edinburgh ... Mind you, Edinburgh being what it is, they probably already know each other!

Kat, I'm good with kids Grin But most women are, aren't they?!

AwesomePan · 18/06/2011 22:38

spark to a flame, garlic, spark to a flame!

still promoting my friends, tho' losing faith...
