Please this is a very serious message but very frank, so please only respond if you are 100% honest.

Many thanks

I have a dd of 10months. Dp and i split up a few months back and i recently have found a new partner.
When i was pregnant we read that if a man were to go down on you it could be very unpleasent for them as your body is changing and adjusting (smelly and tasting fowle). Before children there was never a problem with me tasting or smelling different but when i fell pregnant it was pretty rank for my partner. We were put off.
But now i am in another relationship and i am still breast feeding and will be for the next 8 months. I am worried that maybe it would still not be nice down there. It is going to be extremely disgusting if the 1st time he tries it, it is just disgusting for him.
I know i have been very explicite but it is because i can not ask any of my friends and would rather ask strangers.

If you want to respond can you tell me if when you are breast feeding that everything goes back to normal down there, maybe ask your partners if you can.

(I want to be a flower again)

Thanks yous

I was going to suggest vinegar in the first place, I believe we have gone to far and I fear that chance will not forgive us.

doormat · 14/11/2005 20:00

change you did ask for frank answers
and I think you got loads of good honest answers
as for the oral sex bit, that is your business

Rhubarb · 14/11/2005 20:05

No, she asked for Frank's answers I think. Who's Frank then?

sunchowder · 14/11/2005 20:08

I think it was Frank the local fishmonger that had his olafactory skills honed in on her flapping bits. And now I promise not to say another word. I doubt that I will ever be forgiven by chance and I don't know what has come over me, Rhubarb you are a terrible influence.

NomDePlume · 14/11/2005 20:08

fwiw i think your all being a bit harsh to the poor woman she only asked a question i think people should lay off her now. after having a baby you do feel a bit vunerable especially if your with a new partner and i certainly wouldnt want to discuss this with my close friends so i can understand where change is coming from.

please can you all calm down now and take peoples issues seriously

Springchicken · 15/11/2005 15:29

How did it go change?

carly82 · 15/11/2005 15:39

can i be really thick here and ask what a troll is

Springchicken · 15/11/2005 15:41

Someone who stumbles across Mumsnet then uses it to either ask strange/rude questions or to start slagging people off and trouble making

carly82 · 15/11/2005 15:42

Springchicken · 15/11/2005 19:04

I to did not know the meaning of troll. But at least i do now thanks.

Yes the results came back today from the doctors.
Bad case of long term untreated thrush. I have been given a double wammy of Caneston.
SO please be kinder next time to those that have serious questions. I am sure that there are not that many trolls out there. There are actually probably too many embarrased mums instead, that can not approach there friends in fear that they will be laughed at or something else.

Thanks again to those that helped.

Oh Change, I am so glad that you got it sorted. If you have had relations with your partner, please make sure that he gets treatment also, because that can spread back and forth between the two of you and you will never be rid of it. You should also add a daily yogurt if you enjoy that to keep you balanced. Sorry for the piss-take.

change · 16/11/2005 21:26

No my partner and i have not yet. But i have put it off for a long time because i was worried that my problem was because i was breast feeding. I could have kicked my self (really hard) when the results came back. I really did not think that it would have been something so minor. But thank you.
