Please this is a very serious message but very frank, so please only respond if you are 100% honest.

Many thanks

I have a dd of 10months. Dp and i split up a few months back and i recently have found a new partner.
When i was pregnant we read that if a man were to go down on you it could be very unpleasent for them as your body is changing and adjusting (smelly and tasting fowle). Before children there was never a problem with me tasting or smelling different but when i fell pregnant it was pretty rank for my partner. We were put off.
But now i am in another relationship and i am still breast feeding and will be for the next 8 months. I am worried that maybe it would still not be nice down there. It is going to be extremely disgusting if the 1st time he tries it, it is just disgusting for him.
I know i have been very explicite but it is because i can not ask any of my friends and would rather ask strangers.

If you want to respond can you tell me if when you are breast feeding that everything goes back to normal down there, maybe ask your partners if you can.

(I want to be a flower again)

Thanks yous

yes sorry hon (thread went off track) I also asked DH in his usual subtal way (excuse crudeness girls) a 'rat' (his horrid word) sandwich tastes just like a rat sandwich - but I must add he's not ahem since being PG - not sure if he will when BF. (his view won't matter either way)

Change - why are you so het up then? If you are a regular Mumsnetter you know about the problem we have with trolls, asking about people's experiences of flange tasting just brought out the cynic in me, sorry. But you've had lots of good answers here. I'm glad you've found a new partner, just think it's a bit too soon to be thinking about that kind of thing! If you wanted some advice, I've given you some advice, enjoy your partner, go to the docs, oral sex shouldn't even be entering the equation now, in my humble opinion! Blimey, I didn't even have sex with my dh until we were going out 4 months or so and I knew it was serious - oral sex hadn't even entered my head! But maybe I'm an old fuddy duddy!

Look, I thought you were a troll, I really did. Sorry. But don't go looking for too much sympathy now, it's not such a big deal that someone mistook you for a troll is it? Understandable given the context of the thread I think! And you've had some really good answers. So that's that!

Sorry Chance.

If it smells of fish then you have an infection. My MW used to tell me to watch out for a fishy smell down there.

Get it right, HMO2 'fowle'

I will go to the docs tomorrow. I did not think this actually a strange question. But it must only happen to very few people. My ex partner and i read it in a johnsons book too. So i thought it happened often. But was not sure if it carried on at breastfeeding stage.
Sorry i do not have the book (if any of you are asking). I will not post anymore. I think i have my answer.
Thanks and good night.

PS. I must admit most of my freinds are very prett intelligent etc and not troll like at all. But they meet there partners and yes to have oral sex quite quickly, but only if there is a strong feeling there. i am not considering it straight away, but i wanted to carry on breast feeding another 8 months.
So surely you girls wont mind if i have oral sex in a few months time would you?

So long as you don't change your name and tell us all about it!

NomDePlume · 14/11/2005 19:50

change, your oral sex planner is none of our business ! You have it when you want it, FWIW, I've both given and rec'd on one night stands, it's not unusual !

munz · 14/11/2005 19:52

and i'm just a fuddy duddy so ignore my sexual antics! lol. it's up to u when/if u do it as long as u're comfortable - important thing thou is if u feel there's a problem with ur works - ie smell then get off to the dr's, that's all.

Hope he likes that kind of thing, otherwise she'll be the disappointed one! Imagine all this consideration and planning and then he says that he doesn't want to do it!
