Congratulations, Hubba, what lovely news.

Fortheverylasttime · 04/11/2010 21:34

Miflaw is pregnant too.

Mousefawkes · 04/11/2010 21:41
Hmm

Are you ok Forthe??

I'm off to bed too to try and get a head start on this bloody toothache.

I'm also hoping that by sleeping with my head under the pillow, The Tooth Fairy will pop along, have a quick peek in my mouth and take the offending gnasher out!!

Sleep well Brave Babes, take good care. xxxx

desiretochange · 04/11/2010 21:43

Congrats Hubbabubba:):)
Well made it to end of day 5 and a Thursday night which is always a danger point for me, have soaked my feet in lovely foot bath crystals (feet got soaking wet for 3rd day in row:()and taken two Natrasleep so almost bed-time for me.

BBwannaB · 04/11/2010 21:55

venusandgunpowder · 04/11/2010 22:08

Congratulations Hubba - best reason in the world for giving up, and a great time to develop new habits. Please keep coming on here and telling us how you are.

mouse and silver I can do bold underline italics and strike outs but probably not all at once

venusandgunpowder · 04/11/2010 22:11

As demonstrated Grin

although I did manage bold and underscore but not italics or underline

jesuswhatnext · 04/11/2010 22:12

lovely news hubba!!! Grin, many congrats!!, i hope you stay with us though!, it would be lovley to share the excitment with you!!

moose, my best babe! Grin, hope your old gnashers give you a rest tonight!!

im off to bed, i feel totally drained - dd has decided she is unhappy with her course and wants to quit, we have spent the evening talking about her going off to do a course in california Shock, what was i saying about her leaving home?, i shall miss her sooo much!!, (but not the mess/washing/ironing/moneytary demands/taxi service and general teenage doss house) or will i? - ohhh bugger me, do i feel empty nest syndrome coming on? Shock, someone come and slap me! Grin

night night babes, see you all tomorrow!

venusandgunpowder · 04/11/2010 22:13

now I am _intrigued

jesuswhatnext · 04/11/2010 22:14

alright you show-offs - i cant even spell, let alone do all this fancy computer stuff! Grin

venusandgunpowder · 04/11/2010 22:19

The only combination that works is underline with another effect. I wonder why???

JWN, dd1 left her first uni course at Christmas in her first year - I think it is such a big decision and there are so many choices. She has survived and done well and I am very glad that I did not make her stay on longer.

dd2 is traveling in India Shock - my little baby out there on her own! It's tough having them and home and it's tough letting them go out into the world. Don't fret. She will be fine. If she's inherited any of her Mum's wonderful characteristics you know that she will flourish.

venusandgunpowder · 04/11/2010 22:21

'at' home

I may be able to do clever computer things but I still get the wrong word in!

BBwannaB · 04/11/2010 22:26

JWN no need for a slap, but try not to project about DD leaving, teenagers always love a bit of drama and she may not decide to go at all. As a curent empty nester I can assure you that it is mixed blessings, I do really miss DC but the peace, quiet and order about the place are some compensation...until the holidays come Grin

BBwannaB · 04/11/2010 22:42

Just had another thought JWN this is actually a huge vote of confidence in your new found sobriety - that she feels able to leave you, knowing that you are going to be OK

venusandgunpowder · 04/11/2010 22:46

That's a good point BB and it is also good that she even wanted to talk to JWN, and even better that JWN was sober enough to listen and to understand.

Thoroughlyashamed · 05/11/2010 00:04

Aww Hubba Congrats feeling broody

I'm done drunk still in control but not really able to type sense.

good luck everyone, I have so much to say but don't know where to start.

Off to my clean sheets - 2nd tine this week thaks to mouses sugestion - even I can tell by the typos that i need my bed.

Sometimes, just sometimes I really feel like it would be better in the long run if I wasn't here.

Fortheverylasttime · 05/11/2010 00:13

Stop that, TA. Have a good sleep.

Thoroughlyashamed · 05/11/2010 00:19

Will do - I'm such a drama queen. Jut wish it was all different that's all x

hubbabubbababba · 05/11/2010 06:34

Thanks everyone for the congrats, I shall of course keep on coming on here to support and be supported! Unfortunately with my first dc being pregnant didn't stop me drinking I am ashamed to say, I managed to sort of convince myself that there wasnt anything wrong with a glass of wine most nights, thankfully I didnt generally go over that but I'm determined to not go back there again with this one, especially after watching that program on alcohol during pregnancy, it was frightening!
Oh and good morning to all :)

Whitenapteen · 05/11/2010 06:38

Congratulations Hubba

Whitenapteen · 05/11/2010 06:38

oh and to DH/DP too.

witchetychicky · 05/11/2010 07:25

Morning babesSmile
Having been all smug about my improved sleep for the last month, I am now waking up at 4am every morning - still it's not so bad without the hangover.

How's the tooth mouse?

How are you this morning TA? I hope that things seem a little brighter for you. Also wondering where dich is. Hope that you are OK.

Whose bringing the bacon rolls this morning? - having had breakfast at 5am I should be ready for mine at about 9!

MissPerrier · 05/11/2010 07:49
