I like the bitchy threads.

The only shame is that I seem to miss so many of them before they have blown out or moved on.

I don't tend to join in though. Well. Not until I am halfway down the second bottle of NZ Sauvignon Blanc anyway.

(bought a cheekily crisp couple of bottles earlier, so keep an eye out at about, say, 11 for my inebriated bear baiting missives...)

I'll be there too RG.

annec555 · 01/10/2010 19:58

I can't decide if I am provincial or not. I am from a province but I now live in London. I will soon be moving to a different province.
I suppose it is a moot point as I am not particularly fat. Although fatter than pre-baby.
I don't think I am sad either. Although my feet are a bit cold after getting caught in the rain so I couldn't say I was exactly happy.
Do I count? A bit fatter than I was, kind of transitional provincial and a bit sad about my wet feet.

DiscoSquish · 01/10/2010 22:37

I am very provincial. I'm not fat, I ride far too much to be fat although I do put weight on easily if I stop for any reason. Possibly a Fatty In Waiting? Definitely not sad, life is far too short to be sad for long.

MN is brilliant, I've not experienced any bitchiness and everyone I've spoken to on here has been lovely. When I was pretend sad at not getting any PMs loads of MNers PMed me to cheer me up and one of them even told me they loved me Grin

So I'm a Provincial But Happy Fatty In Waiting (with lots of friends here and in RL)

thumbwitch · 02/10/2010 13:36

MN - gotta love it.Grin

A-woof-woof.

(Thomas the Tank Engine reference.)

Hullygully · 02/10/2010 13:46

I am sad and fat and bottom class

Shodan · 02/10/2010 13:50

This is causing Confusion and Delay.

(another random Thomas the Tank Engine reference)

Hullygully · 02/10/2010 14:08

You're a Very Naughty Engine

Anniegetyourgun · 02/10/2010 14:38

I'm a bitch, geddit? Also doubles in meaning "I agree with the above poster".

proudnglad · 02/10/2010 16:44

BWhisky you are tres obsessive.

Aaaaannnnnd...

How can anyone take the two dimensional, simplistic view that so many different women from different walks of life all be bitches??

It's dumbassdom of the highest order.

lisad123isgoingcrazy · 02/10/2010 16:50

supportive and very funny Grin
any bitching is just a matter of opinion and therefore not really anthing to worry about.

Antalya1 · 02/10/2010 17:31

Definitely supportive, great to have friends but sometimes they are to close to give a subjective view, and that's where MN come up trumps...sometimes we might hear uncomfortable truths but we all need that reality check...and there's nothing like someone/many hundred's sometimes, who have no invested interest in just saying the right thing...also there is such a range of experience on here and that's another reason why the advice is superb..that and the fact that other points that you may not have thought of are pointed out.

On a personal basis, I literally don't know what I would have done without having this support/advice tool to turn to over the last few months...my only regret..that I didn't find MN sooner.

pinemartina · 02/10/2010 17:35

Me too,Antalya Smile
