DH is in a league of his own and I am not happy with him at all.

For the first time in months, I am going out at midday for lunch with my best mate, we will be having a couple of drinks and catching up and we aren't intending to rush.

I have just mentioned to dh that asda shopping is coming between 3 and 5 just in case I am not back (we have to get there, get a table wait for food and have a leisurely lunch etc) and he went mad saying I had better be back to sort asda out when it comes because there is an england game on and he wants to watch it uninterrupted.

Bearing in mind, we have two dd's, so now I will not be able to enjoy lunch as much as I could because I know if I'm not back he will be shouting and balling at the kids and bad language will be flying, but I still don't see why I have to rush back, upon thinking back I think that this is the FIRST time I have been out for lunch without the kids this year.

I am ranting now lol and repeating things, but I am so bloody angry at the minute, I can't think straight.

Mrs Bubs - I agree with the last 2 posters - he is a horrible horrible man for talking to your dd like that.

You obviously have enough on your plate so please don't take this as having a go at you.

Batters, I don't think for one minute that you are having a go at me, I asked for advice, and needed to vent hear, and knew that if i didn't want the truth that I shouldn't post.

Things are ok at the minute, but he is in a v v bad mood as he has lost his mobile phone today and is at work tomorrow, so as per usual i am walking on eggshells.

Hi

Kelli, fine thanks, he is at work until 7.30, i've given the house a good seeing to today and it looks lovely, no doubt within 10 mins of him walking in, it will be a pig sty again, the kids will be in bed by 7 so hopefully asleep when he has his bath otherwise the shouting will begin

I'm really interested in the reply to the last post! My husband is the most selfish pr!ck....he fcks off out to his mates the minute I get home from work and leaves me to get on with it! (I only work a little at weekends but I struggle getting him to watch the kids while I'm there....he doesn't wanna know). Couldn't be bothered reading ALL this strip but from what I did read COD - you are a bloke and Enid....obviously you wear the trousers in ur house! MRSDV how did lunch go? Did he put the shopping away....? Shame England lost eh? No point in watching the bloody game in the first place if you ask me.

Chozen · 10/09/2005 10:07

ok, just read thru a lot more of the thread....MRSDV....I do understand what you are going thru....MY husband and I have a son (25 months) and a daughter (9 months) - he's always been ok with my Son but he has NEVER bonded with our daughter...he's constantly ignoring her calling her a little b!tch, telling her to shut up etc. It crushes me but I honestly don't know what to do about it. I'm interested in knowing the ages of your daughters...and ur husband. My hubby is 24..I've been waiting for him to grow up forever but he seems to be getting younger lol. Does this make any sense to anyone?

Enid · 10/09/2005 10:19

I don't 'wear the trousers' chozen - we have a civilised relationship, like grown-ups should.

My comments about a dh calling a dd a bitch apply to you also, obviously.

How are you bubbles?

crazydazy · 10/09/2005 10:33

If a man can disrespect his own children then he has no respect for anybody at all, only himself!!!!

Chozen · 10/09/2005 10:39

Enid...I'm pleased for you that you have a "civilised" relationship with ur partner/hubby. Maybe you could try and understand that not all couples are able too? I would love nothing more than to be able to be civilised with my husband but he's simply not mature enough to be civil back. Things in life are not always black and white ya know! My previous comment was made based upon my shock at ur shrugness to MsDBV's post...it must have been really difficult for her to be in that situation...don't we all deserve a little time off from the kids once in a blue moon! Stuff the bloody football...it's the kids and our sanity that matter!

Chozen · 10/09/2005 10:40

Crazydazy....I don't even think he has any respect for himself either! (He does have depression and smokes a LOT of weed....which I know accounts for a lot of his behaviour)

Chozen · 10/09/2005 10:43

Sorry, I keep getting ur nick wrong...msbdv! :-)

crazydazy · 10/09/2005 10:52

Sorry Chozen, I didnt mean to sound so rude

Your man needs to grow up a bit though doesn't he? Make the most of his kids whilst they are young.

Chozen · 10/09/2005 11:16

crazydazy...no problem. I wasn't offended...I agree.
