All views on The Archers welcome here! New blood welcomed, and of course we are always delighted to welcome back former or occasional listeners/posters. We don't all agree on all points, although we do mostly try to be civil about it. Most of us are posting tongue in cheek a lot of the time, so don't worry about revealing that you'd love to be Brian's child or stepchild, or other unusual views.

A note on the Riverford site about a slight change to mill sourcing because of the recent heatwave (Devon cows producing less) led me to a nice chat with Google AI about how this would also be affecting milk producing farms in Ambridge. I don’t think we’ve heard anything about it yet? But presumably we may; though perhaps midlands weather isn’t as punishing as further south?

OH is going to Shrewsbury at the weekend and told me gleefully that it was forecast to be three degrees cooler there than here.

Esmee ought to be begging for feed again and I would have thought it would be getting problematic for Helen with her extra cows that nobody had planned for except her.

Do you think we can hope for some respite from Bert? I think I'll have to start listening on Sounds so I can jump forward every time he starts speaking.

FWIW, it does look as if it is going to cool down a bit in the north west. DH is off to the Lake District and it is looking decidedly chilly compared to the 28 degree wind-less afternoon.

Let's face it Esme was brought in to get George a job. She won't be heard of again as no-oneknew her from before.

What is this 'heat' of which you speak? It's tipping it down here and has been on and off for several days. Lovely and green on the island as a result.
