@Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g Almost a child? He'll be 19 in April!

Arf! April is 8 months away - so he's 18. Yes, yes, I know, it makes little difference, but I do exactly the same thing. If he were a very badly-behaved small child that I liked (this is vanishingly improbable) and going to be 5 next month, I'd be saying "Awww! He's only a toddler".

BoreOfWhabylon · 16/08/2024 00:32

I also think he'll run away.
French Foreign Legion? That will keep him out of the way for at least the next five years (according to their website)

TherapistInATabard · 16/08/2024 07:39

He’s already 19 isn’t he? I thought he was born a week after DD in April 2005.

JanglyBeads · 16/08/2024 07:43

WhoppingBigBackside · 15/08/2024 16:45

Twins, boiler suits, miniature organic vegetable garden and the big modelling job pay cheque.

I like this idea.

Oops - you're right. In my defence, M'lud, it's still 2023 in my head.

TherapistInATabard · 16/08/2024 08:36

Haha me too!

WhoppingBigBackside · 16/08/2024 09:24

There's been several mentions of George's Insta-marketing know-how, so I think he'll try to blackmail the Bridge Farm Archers.

The litter is heavily-signposted, and I suspect that there'll be a trail of fruit cider bottles on the way from Ethan's to Bridgegate Bridge.

WhoppingBigBackside · 17/08/2024 16:29

I presume double maths physics and chemistry.
The 3rd and 4th A-level could be something like IT, Statistics, Economics, General Studies, ...

Not a spoiler, sorry.

MollyButton · 18/08/2024 20:30

From the Spoilers I was wondering if he's asking Bridge Farm for an advance on his wages - and is going to run away.

Gonners · 18/08/2024 20:46

Hopeless optimism there, @MollyButton - where would he run to? I don't imagine he has a passport, and even if he did, a week's advance wages from BF wouldn't get him beyond Felpersham.

But nothing he has done has been rational. I am sure he will not be in Ambridge tomorrow. A good place to hide actually would be a big city.

Gonners · 18/08/2024 21:19

Or chez Bartleby, perhaps?

i don’t think I can bear it dragging on this much longer

i I guess Denise moves in with kirsty

MsCheeryble · 18/08/2024 22:40

If George has run away, Emma and Will really should tell the police why. It doesn't look like they're planning to any time soon.

JanglyBeads · 18/08/2024 22:54

No Meg in the cast lists

TottersBlankly · 18/08/2024 22:56

No … That’s disappointing.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 19/08/2024 06:43

No Alf or Clive or 'Hitman' either!

OP posts:
Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 19/08/2024 06:47

He can't be running away. He's in the cast lists for the next two weeks as well as this week.

If he runs away then perhaps we just hear him on the phone??

Lots of water references in the episode descriptions…does he try to join the navy?!

TottersBlankly · 19/08/2024 07:03

That sometimes happens. We heard Tiger and Pusscat in South America (or wherever it was). And iirc, Chelsea with the kindly horse (honestly cannot recall his name) who helped her out when she ran away. And we heard Ruairi in London with whatshername - not running away but to establish context.

If George runs away we might just hear him tearfully on the phone to his mother or Will - without necessarily hearing from the person harbouring him.

Eastie77Returns · 19/08/2024 08:29

I’m now wracking my brains trying to remember the name of Philip Moss’ horse who helped Chelsea.

WombatCowgirl · 19/08/2024 08:36

Blake?

TottersBlankly · 19/08/2024 08:46

That’s the one!
