11/7 Stella finds herself fighting a losing battle,

I guess this will be kitten-related.

I think it will be BL Board related, but I can see Pip persuading Stepmum Stella to adopt a kitten because the Fat Fairchild wants one.

14.7 Pip's brainwave may be the answer, and there’s a shock for Freddie.

Not sure I can take Pip producing some idea in a "Look how clever I am" tone of voice, and having her parents worshipping her yet more.

No doubt pip will solve all of Stella’s problems because obviously Stella needs pips help and advice🙄

Spoiler updates. Jill speaks in a couple of weeks! Goodness me. And, praise be, Charles Collingwood and John Rowe are back too (Brian and Jim).

It’s Room 101 for you …

The fascination of the Gills is that nobody even mentions them. There was one brief interaction when elderly Ma/Grandma Gill was upset at Brian sitting on a bench, but we've heard no more of them. It's high time one of them went into the shop for a tin of beans or something.

Ah the mysterious Gills. Such a shame we never met the new occupants of JD’s beloved kitchen.

They did and Jenny was very upset about it.

I once knew a couple who had a massive, v.v. posh house - 4 or 5 storeys in a historic terrace - and installed an absolutely enormous blue and white Wedgwood-pattern kitchen over the entire basement floor. It Was Hideous! When they sold up, the first thing the new owners did was rip it out. The wife (whose house it no longer was) was absolutely enraged.

It sounds awful.

Will we get to hear the celebrity chef?

I do hope not ... but if we do, who will it be? Answers on a postcard please, to The Paper Recycling Bin, Chez Gonners.

It can't possibly be worse than some of the recent episodes.

It would have been a vast improvement on Paul pestering his mother. Can someone please make him go away, ideally taking his mother with him.

Arf! Famous last words there. I suppose at least we didn't hear him, just about his general ghastliness.

I do wish they'd adopt this for all scenarios involving Paul and Denise and their really rather uninteresting and improbable personal lives.

Is the chef an actual person in real life, like the guy with the teeth and a name like Lanyard whom everyone had mysteriously heard of? Did they say "Milo"? If he's fictional I wonder if he's meant to be like Hugh F-W?

Milo Heywood? I think the foraging was where the similarity ends.

Hayward? I can't say I fancy trying nettle pesto.

BBC synopsis spells it "Haywood".

And I expect nettle pesto is ok if you use young shoots of nettle, as with nettle soup.
